Quel courage! Quand on compare le comportement noble et honorable de ces braves soldats à celui des troupes alliées qui, apres la guerre, ont violé plus de 2 millions de femmes allemandes, on se rend compte que les valeurs altruistes qu'ils représentaient étaient bien supérieures à celles des vainqueurs (qui, depuis 65 ans, écrivent leur propre version de l'histoire!)

it is to me as a Canadien, of French and German to see and try to understand their European fight. In Europe this is the NS side of it. and to fight and to defend your home from the possibility of Communist overtaking. One theory i have heard is that D-day was done to prevent the Soviet Union from Occupying Western Europe. The one man that understood Stalin more than any other was Churchill. In Europe there are many old and new understandings of one another, SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Fenet understood.

If there was to be a fight against the Communists, you would not have it led by Hitler, a Socialist, allied to Mussolini, who was an old communist rabble rouser.

@ssszar They were allies. Hitler had a history of attacking his allies. Hitler also attacked neutrals like Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands. Stalin, in coordination documented by the von Ribbentrop Molotov pact, also attacked neutrals Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia. Stalin at that time thought of himself as the 4th member of the Axis, even had a non-agression pact with Japan, just as he had one with Germany.

Actually I initially thought they were left behinds from the Normans...The children of rape was told me by the locals who remembered it too well. Fortunately the French don't blame the children for the sins of the fathers. As for allies in fight against communism, when Germany defeated France, Communists were an ally of Germany.

The fact is the fight against Communism would have been more effective if Hitler had not allied with the Communists against Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. His war against the Communists propaganda meme would have been more credible if he hadn't invaded France, Greece, Netherlands, Belgium, and Norway, where communists were rather thin on the ground.
