  • I don't think they made a e36 CSL but they did make the lightweight version and it was called the LTW. I do know there were other models like the GT which only a few were made. So I could be wrong, but that's what I believe is correct.

  • @jrcanes5508 + the E36 M3 EVO = from 3ltr to 3.2ltr , from 286hp to 321hp

  • @ducatijacco yeah, but they made an Version called the LTW as well. That was the one with the much larger spoiler on risers and the sick front lip.

  • @ducatijacco There was also the Australian homoligation M3-R that counted as a factory car. That had 322hp, a roll cage and a lot less weight, but was actually the s50b30. Only 11 were sold to the public though and only in Australia. :)

  • there is no e36 csl m3.....

  • @dulebmw of course there is...

  • @inurkiewicz NO there isnt

  • @tobbeabc why don't you just google it instead of posting statements which make you look like a tool?

  • @inurkiewicz cause youre mom told me that google dosent make me smart

  • @inurkiewicz no there isn't...

  • @dulebmw there was no E36 M3 CSL, but there was a model which is simillar called the M3 LTW...

  • pas mal sous le tunnel beau sound

  • and tdifelix...

the concept of CSL (or Coupe Sport Light as mistermdma stated) is derived from the 70's racing cars......

    so erh...DO YOUR HOMEWORK...

    AGAIN!

  • there is one, but this can't be one....

    where's the huge spoiler??

and they are WHITE not blue or purple or black whatever this one is....

  • there is a csl version of the e36, go do your homework.

  • There is no CSL on the basis of the E36. And this one doesn't even have an airbox.....

  • Yes there is, There was roughly 120 ever made. It was still advertised but there was controversy over the name, some call it the M3 Lightweight, others call it the M3 CSL.

  • There was an E36 CSL. BMW built them with less weight to make up for the lower bhp figures that the US version of the M3 was cursed with because of US regulations.

It was generaly known as the "lightweight" but at the BMW factory it was officialy known as the CSL (Coupe Sport Lightweight).

It basicaly looked like a white M3 GT exept with a brake light on the rear wing and and M colored chequered flag decals on it.

It was a very cool car!

  • Reminds me of a scene from a video game!

  • lol, some fucking games...
