  • Def Leppard needs to get some more a little bit underrated songs. they need to put shit like Desert Song, White Lightning, Day After Day, Paper Sun. I don't really see it that much in their sets. it sucks like that...

  • i seen them last night in Freedom Hall, Louisville Kentucky. they we're awesome!

  • I don`t care what anybody says. I have my comment and stand by it. That asshole Viv Campbell has never been a real Leppard. On my posters I cut him off and leave the four others in place. I know the band insist he is a genuine member. Not true. Denial or something like it. Steve leppardized def. Without him they have only released 2 or 3 good songs. Viv has no part of anything worth more than one listen. Besides, V is a spoiled brat and an asshole. Good live tracks. 3 horrible new ones.

  • it sounds like electronic drums, but i knew that they use acoustic drums since 95

  • @axlhm Yeah I know for the Slang tour it was all acoustic, but I think since they went back to their big arena sound with Euphoria and onwards I think Rick switched to a custom electronic/acoustic mix set.

  • Han mejorado muchisimo esta cancion en directo, madre mia que coros y que sonido.

Gracias Def Leppard ¿para cuando España?

  • I was at this concert. They were really good!

  • Why do people constantly compare Steve and Vivian - seriously, Vivian has fitted in well with Def Leppard and had it not been for him joining in 1991/2 then it would have been unlikely that they would have continued (as Phil was close to leaving the band after Steve died). Steve Clark should never be forgotten - he played his part in making the band amongst the best British bands ever - but Vivian is the here and now. Stop bickering, just enjoy the music!

  • @MidnightRambler73 I totally agree, Viv seems to be underutilized in Def Lep

  • I have to say, this is better than oryginal from Hysteria :D !!!!!

  • I hope they put a song that Steve Clark did live because he is SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than Vivian will ever be.

  • @bustoutxxx All the songs on this live album are from the 2008-2009 tour.

  • @bustoutxxx Vivian is an unbelievable guitar player that for one reason or another is always critisized for not being Steve Clark. People might not know this but Vivian has been touring with Thin Lizzy this summer & I've talked to many people and seen reviews about how good Viv was in Lizzy. Surprised some People, is he Steve Clark, NO. And that's fine by me because I'm happy with who HE is!

  • @bustoutxxx That's not true in any way actually, don't get me wrong i love Steve but Vivian is a maestro player and controls MANY styles easily to say the least were Clark was mostly about showmanship wich is admirable but that dosen't make him a better GUITARIST

  • @bustoutxxx Uhhh no he isn't. You just have an emotional attachment to the period that Steve was in the band. Don't we all ... .. get over it. Viv is an awesome player and brought in some GREAT songs, to the albums ... "To Be Alive" (terrific ballad), and "Work It Out" being just a couple. This song kicks ass live ... is better live than on the record, IMO

  • I have been a leppard fan for many years since 81 i think anyway i think this mirrorball album could have easly been a bonus cd for the sparkle lounge album like the live show to go with re-released pyromania album that made sence but this im not sure i think the return to donnington show would have been a fitting live show to release because it was as joe put it 26 years since they had played there and ricks tribute etc, that would have made sence and would have been fantastic to me .

  • @stevenesq Well the bonus DVD has some of the tracks from Donnington, and Joe said it includes the tribute to Rick.

  • I hate live versions, but this one is actually pretty good.

  • i prefer the longer version of Rocket...with the longer guitar solos with Phil and Viv improving and shredding...but it's cool to have different versions of the same tune to compare and hear variety...

  • Thanks for the video, but the backing vocals on this song live sucks so bad. If this is what we are to get with Mirrorball (what a lame name for an album), then I am not impressed.

  • this is great, one of my favorite DEF LEPPARD tunes of the Hysteria album, really ROCKS!!!

  • AWESOME, BEST BAND EVER. LEPP FOREVER !

  • Man, I love the studio version, but this is even better. The energy, the vibe... these guys are a great talent. Although they had great success in their carreer, I'm not sure people recognize how good they really are.

I can't wait for the Mirrorball album!

  • Sounds like it's from Tokyo Live Euphoria Tour in 1999, Joe sounds much better since he stopped drinking and smoking , but don't think he sounded this good on this tour , possibly early in the tour .IMHO

  • @suemak56 Hmm, well this is from sometime in 2008-2009, plus in the Tokyo 1999 video he says "guitar, drums, bass", which is cool, he should still do that lol.

  • @suemak56

That's what I thought too, but I thought in the Tokyo Live version they skipped the beginning "whoa oh oh" part

  • Love def leppard first band I got into my dad and I went to see them and my dad loves them after the concert . todays era of music dose not compare to the 60's 70's and 80's thanks def leppard for the amazing and awesome music kepp on rocking

  • Joe has lost his voice, but that doesn't stop Def Leppard from putting on one of the most amazing shows in rock today...

  • WOW I can't wait for the whole album.

  • This kicks ass. The best part about it is that this is pretty much exactly what they sound like live. I was worried they might edit it in the mixing room and it would sound too perfect, but having seen them live 5 times now, i am super pleased with the results! I dont know many bands that can put out their first live cd just over 30 years into their career and still sound this good.

  • Bloody hell. this is great :) Better than the audience videos taken from shows etc. This is their best chosen by them. You guys who just wanna' have a paddy, please do it somewhere else, as the majority of us happen to like what our fav band do. And this is GOOD! Have you not ever seen them play live? @hisartistry, you got it right mate, there's so much crap out there today that no-one knows how to appreciate REAL music played and SUNG by REAL musicians. @steve04050, I agree! Who are they, lol?!

  • Look, I love Leppard but Joe Elliot lost his voice many years ago. This is embarassing!

  • So again, I apologize if my original comment was misconstrued and I take full responsibilty for that. Now, maybe we can all live in peace and my UNDESERVED reputation for being a troll will be forgotten about? Hmmmm? Either way, I wish you all peace and love.

  • What I DID say was that the main guitar riff was lifted from an old Queen song. And yes, I KNOW that has been happening since the beginning of music. I get that. My comment about the live version of rocket should have said that it SOUNDED awful. That was my fault. And the mix DOES sound awful.....I also realize that this is not how it will sound on the CD. But to accuse of trolling several Def Leppard videos with no proof is not cool. I did NOT do that and your accusation has NO merit.

  • Ok, I am going to be someone who admits his comments may have been misconstrued and that I may have been vague in my post. Therfore, I apologize and I will now offer my opinion again, in a more solid effort. I LOVE Def Leppard. Always have. In doing so, I feel it is my right to be honest if I hear something I dont like. And there is some material they have released that has been less than stellar. That being said, I never said anything BAD about Undefeated.

  • Also, keep in mind this is from a radio stream at 128kbps, so it will sound much better on the actual album and vinyl release.

  • LOVE IT. brings back so many memories!!!

  • By the way, I like this song. My comments were about the live version of Rocket. Yes, I did say that the guitar riff from THIS song was lifted and I KNOW that riffs and melodies are lifted all the time. I don't need to be educated on it. Was just stating that it was lifted, that's all.

  • And in being honest, I will give my opinion if I think one of my fav bands is not sounding right. Maybe the mix is off on this version. If so, ok then. You may not agree with my opinion, but I WILL defend, to the death, your RIGHT to have it, just as I have the right to mine. Removing my comment because you don't agree with it? I would think there are bigger fish to fry. Again, that's just MY opinion. Agree, disagree, whatever, but dont attack me. I did not attack YOU!!!!

  • @romeokid69 This is why you should be at least 10 to have an account on here. What the fuck are you talking about lifted guitar riffs or shitty mixing? Roland, their sound engineer for years and years, picked this version. You don't know shit, and your "opinion" should be limited to the "like" or "dislike" button up top. YOU get a fucking life

  • @STEVE04050 Dude, get over yourself. I am a HUGE Leppard fan, but they are not the greatest band ever and def not the best band live. Who cares about Roland picking anything, he is biased. This song sucks live and Viv and Sav can't sing. Also, please make sure you listen to the Hysteria album closely and realize a lot of that album has been lifted from other songs. We Will Rock You, I Love Rock and Roll, Bang A Gong, think before you write.

  • @BludgeonRiffola87 Rocket sucks live? Damn, if anything this is probably the best sounding song they do live nowadays. Now if you said Hysteria, then yes. My god Hysteria sounds horrible live now. It sounded great for years and years up until maybe the Sparkle Lounge tour. At least from videos I've seen, and the Download performance.

  • @BludgeonRiffola87 Quit your bitching. I'd call out a lot of other artists regarding lifting before I'd criticize the Leps. Secondly, quit commenting on Rocket's live version. This is the second video I've heard you complaining on, and to be honest, I think they're going to keep singing this way til the band is through. Third, of course he's biased, he fucking works for them. Finally, YOU should think before you write. You aren't a huge fan, you just post their videos and say they suck. cool.

  • @STEVE04050 You know my first reaction to this response was to call you an asshole, but that is not the point of any of this. First of all, I do not have to explain myself and my love of this band to you. I keep a certain perspective and opinion as do you. Because I am critical of their performance does not make me any less of a fan. I have been a fan since 1983 and will love their music long after they stop. Just because you play a Jackson PC1 does not make you a bigger fan than me.

  • I am gonna say my peace again and then leave this alone because the rest of you seem to want to tear me a new butthole. I NEVER EVER ONCE said Def Leppard sucked. All I said was that this version sounded awful, and, in my honest opinion, it does. I HAVE THE RIGHT to state the opinion. I did not CURSE, USE PERSONAL SLURS AT ANYONE, yet I am getting attacked more than people who DO post in that manner. To be honest, it HURT to put that comment up because I love Lep. But, I am also honest.

  • excelent.

  • @CrossroadsCMT pay no attention....he's posted something on every video and has nothing good to say. Spam artist.

    This is good stuff!

  • @dansaint2249 Yeah removing his comment :)

  • @CrossroadsCMT Wow, I am not allowed to give my opinion. I didn't day the band sucked. I said THIS version sounds awful. Maybe it's the mix, I don't know, but I don't like the way it sounds. I did not trash your precious band. Get a life.

  • @romeokid69 I heard you were trolling a bunch of Leppard videos and your comment didn't really persuade me otherwise because there was no explanation there.

  • @CrossroadsCMT The only 2 videos I made a comment on were this and the new song Undefeated. I challenge you to find ANY other Def Leppard videos that I have "trolled" as you like to put it, then come back to me with your proof. The thing is, you wont HAVE any proof because I have never even searched a Del Leppard video until the other day. So, go back into your little hole. Your words are those of an emotional train wreck who gets upset if anything bad is sad. Don't worry, I am done now.

  • @romeokid69 Really? I think it sounds quite good. Very good representation of what they sound like live. Obviously doesn't sound like the studio track in terms of production, but it's not supposed to. This is a LIVE version...Not a FAKE LIVE version, which many newer bands have been guilty of.

  • Ouch!!

  • @romeokid69 Not to be mean but you've obviously never seen Leppard live. Today's musical plasticity has tainted the ears of many a listener. They're not used to real musicians singing while playing their real instruments minus plug-ins or synths. Rock music is LIVE music. This is a fantastic recording of a fantastic band during what was an absolutely fantastic show. Hey romeokid69>Buy a ticket and treat yourself to a real rock concert>Def Leppard Will Rock It!

  • @hlsartistry Thank you for telling it like it IS! If people only knew! They would be blown off the feet and right onto their Arses if the saw Def Leppard Live!

  • I love it!...Classic Leppard....Screw all the haters!

  • SOUNDS AWESOME!!!! Thank God!
