You arrogant POS cop, you never mentioned anything about the fact that he produced documentation proving that he resided at the address in question! And if you and the racist Cambridge police dept. thought that there were other intruders in the home, why didn't you surround the house, escort Mr. Gates outside and ask permission of him to search the home?

agreed - what's worse than racism is those that accuse others of being racist when they're not. Gates looks feral in those photos, doesn't surprise me he pulled the race card, nothing to do with being Black, he's just an arrogant 'intellectual'. I know a lot of those types...Black AND White.

Contempt of Cop is not probable cause to arrest a man on his front porch. Crowley illegally interfered with Professor Gates' First Amendment right to make a damned fool of himself.
Here' the Cliff Notes version.
Gates: Acted stupidly
Obama: Acted stupidly
Crowley: Acted illegally

I understand this officers side of the story and I don't believe that he is a racist, however I can't for the life of me figure out what justification the officer had for arresting a man on his own property. I think he arrested Gates for being annoying and threatening to report him regarding race profiling.
