  • is this wright someone plz reply kore wa hon de su it means is that a book am i rght

  • you pronounce well ..you are great in teaching

  • how to write nihonkgo wakarimasen by Japanese ?

  • I am American and have recently become interested in learning Japanese. I just love to listen to someone talk but would love to understand them LOL Maybe someday I will be able to visit Japan. This is something I have decided to do to challenge myself.

  • @1965Ayla These videos would serve as a great review and comparison to other methods you pick up on your journey to learning Japanese. :) I put these on my mp3/vid player, so when I travel to and from work, I watch or listen to them. :)

  • boku wa nihongo ga sukoshi wakimasu.

  • She looks like a lady from Osaka I know, same accent too.

  • @STEVEDIGIBOYtv yayaya i agree!!

  • yoku wakaremas

  • @rubalake chigaimasu (not that way). You want to say "yoku wakarimasu" There's no "e" in "wakarimasu". To pronounce properly, try using Latin/Spanish vowel pronunciation, instead of English version. English "short" vowels sounds are not the correct way to pronounce Japanese words. :)

  • @orthant You got this right, she forgot to put it in, but please spell it correctly next time. You wrote it "wagari masen" instead of "wakari masen" <--- correct spelling. ^_^

  • đẹp gái quá

  • how do i say "hotness i wanna bang you"

  • I also heard this: "I don't speak Japanese= Nohongo ga, hanasimasen."

  • @eggsandwich8885 Nihongo ga hanasimasen. Nihongo means Japanese.

  • @Imdroppingdimes Cool, you wrote "hanasimasen" it should be "hanashimasen" ("shi" instead of "si"). :)

  • @dragonballz0 Indeed. Typing error.

  • @eggsandwich8885 Yes, correct... just the spelling should be "Nihongo ga hanashimasen" :) As you all learn to pronounce Japanese words, please learn the Hiragana as-soon-as possible (so you don't fall into what's called "romanji trap").

  • This is very useful!

  • ok then send me an email saying what this means ohayo gozaimesu and english telling you how to say it right is called romagee

  • bakademoshta,. i like that word

  • o.o

  • I got taught differently i thought it was "Nihongo hanasemasen"?

  • Could you help me out?

  • Does wakari masen mean also I don't know......

  • nihongo wakaran.....

  • I hear japanease people are racist to Black people and even some whites(westeners)..

  • @MDefsquad9 the are kind of xenofobic indeed, lots of Asian culters are.Japan was in history manny times and years shut of of outher countrys, so it easy to see wy the feard outsiders, also outsiders are to concour and not to be befriend. I dont want to generalise it, iam not saying al Japanese are racist/xenofoob.

  • @Ni83co I see yes..i understand now..thats prob with a lot of countries.

  • can be goes like this: nihongo wakari nai...

    nai=negative

  • You might confuse people if you say "I don't understand Japanese", but you spoke in Japanese. It might be better to say "Nihongo wakarimasu sukoshi desu". (Japanese understand a little)

  • @akin242002 I think u forgot 'watashi' ( I )

  • すみません

    もちょっとむずかしことならいたいよ!

    あいさつだけちょっとべんりじゃない。

    どしとか

    ありがとう!

  • we can use nippongo or nihongo right?

and nihonjin or nipponjin for japonese people?

  • So nihon or nippon means japan...

and go is for language and jin for people.

so we can use this for another place.

    boku wa burajirujin desu

  • Isn't it Watashi wa Nihongo Wakari Masen?

Without Watashi wa your just saying "Don't understand japanese".

  • @WaffleBanisher You usually only have to say "Watashi wa" at the very beginning of a conversation or when the subject changes from something to talking about yourself. Otherwise they understand that you are talking about yourself. Least ways, that's how I understand it.

  • i think its abit wierd..go in stores and say " I don't udnerstand japanses" in japanses...what they thinking about after that then? :S

  • I totally know what you mean.. I spoke to this group of Japanese girls and 2 guys .. and they all just looked a me .. I used the Japanese i've learned . they are very shy people ... It all comes with learning ... thank you

  • keep ur dicks in check everyone, this is a fucking educational vid

  • I dont uderstand japanese WOMAN!!!

  • Wakarimasen is the formal.

  • How to you say "She dosint understand Japanese" and "He dosint understand Japanese"

  • but if they dont speek engrish and i dont understand Nihongo they will deport you.and I cant speek Chinese eather.

  • why does youtube have advertisements now i thought youtube was made to avoid it lol

  • @solarboyzxa if you have firefox there's an advert block really great cause now the adverts don't pop up in front of youtube vids.

  • Bit ironic isn't it

  • saying `Nihongo wakarimasen` means "I Don't Understand Japanese" so saying that makes a japanese stranger think that `if he/she dont understand japanese language. why did he/she just spoke in japanese`

  • I was told when you use Japanese in a sentence you are supposed to follow it with the sound ga. So I was taught Nihongo ga wakari masen, is that wrong?

  • It is not wrong. Sometimes "ga" is just left out to shorten the sentence. A bit like you would say "I don't understand English" in stead of saying "I do not understand English".

  • @jod02 Yup Lancorian is right. When writing I would use the "ga". But when speaking sentences are shorter. Thing to remember: How longer the sentence is made (by using certain words) how more polite it is. Like arigatou or doumo for informal and arigatou gozaimasu for formal.

  • good saying! thanx!

  • i like learning from your videos, you make it easy and fun

  • i lust love the way she says "Nihongo wakarimasen"....

  • nihongo ga wakarimasen.

  • Comment removed

  • this is super hard to learn so nice try.

  • yeah me to

  • to learn this u need years of practice

  • lol she forgot to say i in Japanese

  • so u wud say watashi nihongo wakri masen?

  • @2118viper nihongo wo wakarimasen (watashi is understood most of the time)

  • they dont use "wo" in this sentence but "ga".

  • 日本語わかりません、でも、がんばります〜

  • wait how did u say that what letter do u use and what did u say just asking ~.~

  • i'm romanian and i try to learn japanese, now using english! i love foreign languages i try to learn more! i lve what are you doing! i had in Romania a japaese teacher her name was Kayo Watanabe..i really miss her

  • NI HONGO WAKARI MASEN

  • i whant to visit japan to and i whant to visit china

  • I think it would be rude to visit someone else's country and not know how to speak. Especially when we have so many ways to learn using the internet, learning software and access to public libraries.

  • Nihongo Wakarimasen Sumimasen. is better IMO. Sumimasen means "I"m sorry", or politely saying "I regret to answer no"

  • muckuo iteyo she didnt steal anuthing from deathnote coz deathnote is jap as well

  • nihongo wakarimashita!!!!yattaaaaa :P...

    *steals words from deathnote*

  • You underSTOOD Japanese, hurray?

What the heck are you trying to say?

  • use "nihonho wakariMASU"

because "mashita" indicates past things, so ur really saying "i understood japanese"

    wakarimashita = Understood.

  • yeat hat is funny now that you mention it majorwaybig. And the way she said it sounds like she's for real.

  • i want to go to Japan someday thats why i am trying to learn japanese language! arigatou gozaimasu sensei

  • lol this was the first video i watched of this and her first words are, i dont understand japanese! THEN WHY ARE YOU TEACHING US. lol. i know she can, it just was funny

  • I love these videos, I'm learning them for my Japanese aunt and my half Japanese cousin that is coming over in a few days! Arigatou!!

  • wow seriously japanese ppl are so fit :/

  • Can you please tell me hoe to say.I do not speak much Japanese. In Japanese it would be greatly appreciated.

  • It is Watashi wa sukoshi nihongo o hanasu koto ga dekimasu

It might be wastashi no, I'm not sure :P

  • THANK YOU!! *^^ it is greatly appreciated!!

  • kawaii ;P

  • arigato!

  • nice.. well i learn japanese through my friend.. most of my friend can speek more than 5 languages.. what can i say, we malaysian..

  • Comment removed

  • i learned a lot. arigatou

  • thats good to know

  • Yes! Her pronunciation is perfect. She's native.

  • any japanese here? I want to learn Japanese and I want to know if her pronunciation is right...

  • she is japanese

  • at least she is trying. u dont have to be so rude. plz dont respond to this in anger, b/c its apparent by the number of "thumbs down" marks that i'm not the only person who thinks this.

  • well about easier or harder languages i think it all depends on your mother language, for example if youre latin, other it will be easier to learn french, italian, spanish, etc., since those languages have many words wich sound alike and the basis are quite similiar, smae goes for same goes for them so i think it´s easier for japanese people to learn chinese and viceversa...

  • i have been writing all she has teached and it really helps my friend emily lived in japan for 6 years and learnd japanese and went to school there she accualy is blonde believe that! but i wnted to learn so that we can talk together in japanese although she known english of course

  • these videos are great I'm learning really fast!

  • This video is very usefull !!

  • in my personal opinion and my knowledge, that my teacher is given me, my language (lithuanian) is one of the hardest in modern history, you wouldn't believe how many rules we have...

  • "actually english is the hardest ;anguage to lean. ....... "

I'm a speaker of both Mandarin (Chinese) and English, and I would say English is easier to learn. :x but still, I believe Tamil (India) and Romanian is even harder to learn since it's already hard enough to catch what they're saying yeh? ;)

  • tamil is sri lankan...... i say that chinese is harder cause my dad tried to teach me and i couldnt remeber any unless u use it like every day. its hard to memorize all the characters... japanese and english is easier. not that many characters. but the kanji/chinese is harder lol... i kno like only 20 characters in chinese!!

  • I think Navajo is harder.

Its sooo cpmplex, but Im just saying though/.....lol

  • did you know that mandarin is also the most spoken language in the world? that might be the next language I start to learn(I'm already learning spanish and japanese)

  • Anata wa Nihongo hanamasuka?

Hai, watashi hanasu Nihongo sukoshi no.

Nino kakawarazu watashi kenkyu suru totemo

katai de Nihongo. Ano nagusami desu !

  • you have no fucking clue what you are talking about my friend.

  • Arigoto nihongo sensei! (i no sp i off)

  • aaaaggghhh heads battered!!!! when does this get easy?

  • japanese is ment 2 be as hard as english so i guess this dont get easyer........lol

  • Thanks...Nihongo wakari masen!! lol.. are u really a powerpuff girl!!

  • actually english is the hardest ;anguage to lean. if u think about it there are millions of grammer rules in english, doing the slighest thing to a sentence can change it completly. in english we can say every thing under the sun. they say english people wud find it hard to learn japanese because of their grammer rules

  • nihongo wa ka ari masen?

  • wakari masssaaaaan

    desu...

  • FAIL! :D

  • ne hongo wakdi masen

  • Arigato!!!

  • 私の悪い日本語を読むことができるか。

    お願いします英語の答え

    I hope its right

  • is that kanji?

wow even u use kanji the sentence still seems long...~~

  • uff what is kanji xD

  • Kanji is the Japanese ersion of chinese writing.

    Basically, they are picture words.

  • what are they so shy?

  • This would be hepful if you used two of these lessons at the same time for this. you say, "Anata wa Eigo o hanashi masuka?" (Do you speak English?) and then say "Nihongo wakari masen." (I do not understand Japanese.)

That way, you ask them if they understand English, and then you tell them that you don't understand Japanese^^

  • what does "masu" mean?

and "ka" is used to ask Q rite?

and "o" is representing the object

so the object is anata (you) or anata wa eigo (you ~~ english) or just eigo (english)??

    thx

  • the subject would be you(anata) because the subject comes first.

  • nani?

  • Nante?

  • anata wa means 'and you?'

  • i thought it was nihongo'ga' because its in a sentence

  • I learned how to speak a little when I was in Yamanashi for an exchange program. Wakata is slang for Wakarimashita am I correct?

  • I though more than a few people spoke english!

    Well, I learned something new!

Keep makin the videos they are so helpful!

Im half Japanese and cant speak it so Im trying to learn!

    LOLZ

  • im learning

  • i love this videos keep making them hugs & kisses!

  • watashi wa zain dusu

  • what happens if u say that and he starts blabbing out other stuff ? lmao

  • hahha XD ran away!? :P jk

  • Anata wa eigo o hanashi masuka I learned and memorized that cause of her thanks! :)

  • what dose anata wa mean again

  • it mean 'you'(singular)

  • Technically it should be "Nihongo GA wakarimasen". GA marks the subject of a sentence. "Wakarimasu" doesn't actually mean "understand" it means "to be understood". So the sentence is "Japanese is not understood [by me]". "Japanese" is the subject so it gets a "ga" after it.

  • I understand its a good thing to know, but it sounds a bit complicated so wouldn't the person you'd say to think that you might be saying it to be rude or something? But either way I'm glad you taught it to us, thank you. ^_^

  • really? I didn't know most dont speak enlgish
