The key to water fuel cells is the way you charge them, you excite the water molecules, this ejects electrons and you remove the electrons creating a ion possible plasma energy as well as a possible 5th state of matter created in these cells when training the electrons.
@sn1pe352 To summarize my "100% water powered issue", here is a chain which shows where the energy comes from and where it ends (for this example only).
(Solar or Battery energy) -> (Hydrogen chemical energy) -> (Electrical energy) -> (Friction and inertia to make the car move forward).
This chain shows all the forms of energy. Water does not hold any energy in any of these steps.
For gas powered cars, the fuel holds the energy chemically. You can observe this by igniting it with a flame.
@sn1pe352 About the description. Simplification is absolutely necessary when you try to convey an idea. However, in this case, you are conveying a different and false idea when you state that it's 100% powered by water.
Fuel is a type of input, or what you put in. Water is not what you put in to run the car. Hydrogen is the fuel which powers the vehicle.
In the case of using solar power to break down water, water is still not the fuel. The solar energy becomes the effective fuel of the car.
You fail to realise that replacing the fuel cell system with a simple battery + electric motor will save you space, weight, money, and you'll be able to travel farther. The only advantage hydrogen fuel energy has over conventional batteries is that you can recharge your vehicle much quicker. But how difficult is it to charge your cell phone overnight? Similarly you could charge your battery electric vehicle overnight.
@shambles9 I know your comment is a year old, but that's the beauty of Karma on Youtube
I think you were completely indifferent-ignorant and failed to realize the information in the video section below i have provided, and just what my entire channel is all about lol
Therefor you have failed in thinking that I have failed the realizations of Teslas Dream, trust me I'm more educated on what you have said than most. If you had taken the time to see what my entire channel is about you'd see :D
@sn1pe352 Is this a joke? Please explain how replying a year later becomes karma. It only shows tardiness on your part.
Most importantly, what kind of a reply is that?? Calling me indifferent and ignorant is not a valid argument to what I put forward. In other words: explain why my argument is false. Don't just call me names and call yourself educated.
This video made specific claims about the viability of hydrogen powered vehicles. I don't need to watch your entire channel for this.
@shambles9 Last by not least, we could argue physics and semantics all day, but just don't forget most people on youtube might not be as advanced, Im trying to convey the Distilled Essence of the Technological Advancements used for Eliminating Pollution Caused by Fossil Fuels
The Word Power and Energy is Derived from (The Ability to do 'Work')
Technically if were arguing semantics *Instead of trying to convey the simplistic essences*
I could say its Balloon Pressure POWEREDinstead of Hydrogen
@sn1pe352 This vehicle is absolutely not powered by balloon pressure. Pressure powered vehicles would need compressed gas and a pneumatic engine to use that pressure to make it go forward. The reason i'm telling you this is to show you that you can't just name it anything you want. There is a specific source of power which is driving the vehicle.
Also, I believe you do not understand "Tesla's Dream". By his dream i'm assuming you're reffering to his incomplete Wardenclyffe Tower project.
In this case, Tesla's dream was to develop an aparatus to provide free wireless electricity. You have not demonstrated this. The closest thing that comes to it is the solar cell you showed, but this is not what Tesla had in mind.
@shambles9 Need I remind you, that you should re-read what exactly you said from top to bottom, than you'd see you're the one playing semantics and games here
You said "I failed to realize etc etc", I am telling you that I did not fail to realize anything, and that this is one single video to my Page i.e a wholistic concordant symphony of information that's trying to attempt explaining the "bigger picture", this single video is NOT an individual entity, its part of a symphony "The Big Picture"
@shambles9 actually this is Dr. Nikola Tesla's "Dream"
"The sun raises the water of the oceans and winds drive it to distant regions where it remains in state of most delicate balance. If it were in our power to upset it when and wherever desired, this mighty life-sustaining stream could be at will controlled. We could irrigate arid deserts, create lakes and rivers and provide motive power in unlimited amount. This would be the most efficient way of harnesing the sun to the uses of man"
@sn1pe352 Concerning our discussion on Tesla's dream. If you're going to generalise his dream to this extent then I have no choice but to agree that this technology is in line with it. I think we can both agree that this is no longer an issue between us.
Lastly, your title is wrong: "100% Water Powered Car". This isn't the case. The vehicle isn't "powered" by water. Hydrogen is the source of power for the car. Water is a relatively stable liquid and is not suitable to store large amounts of electrical energy. In your video, you derive the energy from the sun and batteries. You don't derive the energy from the water itself.
@shambles9 "If you cannot explain it simply "So a bars maid can understand",you don't really understand it"-Albert Einstein
This is the philosophy I try to follow when I'm helping others by providing my own personal research, and in doing so you must always remember that people on youtube might not be as advanced as yourself
So when I say that this is a 100 percent water for fuel-water powered car, I'm trying to convey the distilled essence I'm in no mood for destructive interference, semantics
@sn1pe352 Okay, I like this. I'm not here to destroy anything with semantics. Your video challenged me and in turn I challenge you back. This is the process of learning, and we should both be open to it. Perhaps I am wrong in my way of thinking, but this should not stop you from trying to persuade me. If I am indeed wrong, I should be willing to admit my mistakes. Similarly, I hope that you too admit your mistakes if need be. I'll reply back to your responses in a bit.
@shambles9 and as far as saying that it's not a 100 percent water powered car is definitely silly and confusing to people who are actually trying to learn from others youtube comments, people need to know that a PEM Water Fuel Cell IS technically a 100 percent water for fuel vehicle in its Distilled Essence, the Hydrogen and Oxygen are disassociated by photovoltaic electrical energy, which in return is used to POWER the Proton Exchange Membrane Water Powered Vehicle
can someone explain why a fuel cell can be better than a battery?

where can I purchase this? I'm almost done doing project similar to this, something nice to remember as part of my memory. Thank you.

@sn1pe352 I'm trying to have a serious discussion with you.
Here are a few things I wanted to point out:
1. I don't need to know what your page is about to understand this video.
2. If you have an issue with what I stated, address it directly, don't beat around the bush with useless quotations.
3. I've raised many more questions! Can you answer any of them? These are: a. Viability of Hydrogen vs. Battery electric vehicles
b. Definition of Tesla's Dream c. The title of your video
