You can turn the nanosuit voice off in the options. In Crysis 2 you can't, because the voice is more of a character that's important to the story.

@timjones066 Yeah, you just have to locate the voice files in the localization pak file, and overwrite them with the custom ones. Just as long as they are MP2 format.

@chrome235 The sound files are all in fsb format, how do you convert them to mp2?

@timjones066 They are separate from all the other sound files in the game. Look in Game/Localized/English.pak/lan­guages/dialog/suit. You'll see that they are all MP2. When you're making a custom sound file, use Audacity, and render as an MP3, but simply add ".mp2" to the end of your sound file's name and it will render as MP2 instead.

@chrome235 Thanks a lot, I was able to edit all the sound files except for "cloak engaged" though. Strange, I see something called "temperature cloak enabled" but I dont see the regular cloak engaged file anywhere.

@timjones066 Yeah their sound files have some awkward naming, I guess because the other cloak modes were cut from the game, but the sound files were left. The file for "cloak engaged" is called suit_modification_enabled.

@zweisteinJ It's just done with pitch shifting it a couple different ways, and then overlapping them. Makes it sound really synthesized.
