Thank's, I appreciate the feedback. When I started doing Traditional songs fingerstyle, I was'nt sure how people would react. It seems to go over well, and I have'nt had anyone say I butchered it(yet). But it's still good to hear a comment like your's. Thank's
good to hear from you Darryl i took a real interest in your approach on music your dad was a very good guide as to where to lead a musical genre and mostly good taste for the master Chet Atkins snd lenny brough and so many more great guitaristsin this worlr of ours...keep up the good work and im learning a lot just watchin you play it gave me anew beginning im gonna work harder to play these tunes when i learn to make a video ill send you one firstly ha aha john lane
Very nice. It sounds like you play the fast one at the end with more confidence than the slower, easier-sounding ones. Have you practiced it more? Very cool stuff you're doing. I may have to start learning a couple of the things i've heard you do here.
Thank you! I'm much better at playing in 4/4 time, I geuss it's just easier to divide the beats. A lot of traditional Irish/Newfoundland music is in 3/4. "The tiny red light" was the first song I arranged in 3/4, as a good study for myself. It still gets confusing and when I do it right it almost feels wrong(lol). Thanks Again, I'll keep getting it smoother.
Proud to be a NEWFIE!
