Thank you for making this clear. For me Tokyo Mew Mew has always been one of the most tragic series in the world. It's not as happy-go-lucky as people think it is. I don't even think good and bad can be defined. Both aliens and Mews fighted to save their people. Willing to let someone else's people die. But that's alright. It's just that the aliens aren't "evil". Maybe they chose wrong ways, but they fight for their loved ones.

Lots of people who watch other animes think that Tokyo Mew Mew is a little kid's show. I can see why they might think that because of the "cute" aspect of the show. But it's really AMVs like this that really bring it home and show that there's a lot more to this show than it seems. I'm happy that someone besides me can see the darker aspects of TMM. I read the discription, and it really touched me, latly, home seem's to be out of my reach. So i can relate to it, i think back on the episodes of tokyo mew mew, and i now relize that they are fighting for there home's. Right now, i'm torn between homes, it was a long time ago, but my mother and father got a divorce, every since then, i've been living happily with my mom, wihle viseting my dad. So, now that i'm older, i'm torn between two homes, my father's, i love, my mom's, not so much anymore

Hey in a way Kisshu was the right guy for ichigo.They both had their problems and needed to find their way. Kisshu did everything he could for ichigo and even betrayed his people for her. In the end, he risked his life for her. That no matter what means a lot and that shows he truly loved her in every way!

On the contrary. Kisshu wasn't the right one for her. Dedication means absolutely nothing in a relationship if the receiving end is being stalked, if they're being forced to do something they don't want to do... regardless of how that seems in an anime, experiencing the reality of it makes it fucking ridiculous.

@SacridiaDarque regardless, he did still at least care, even if it was at the very end, and in the Manga he gave her up because she was happy, and that was what he wanted. If you really love somebody set them free.

Point being; there shouldn't have been any freedom to set. Ichigo demanded it far before the "noble" ending of the manga, and he refused her. Hence, it's hard for me to feel sorry for him.

@SacridiaDarque Opinions differ and it's okay. but looking from the way he grew up it could've been difficult for him to understand, from me seeing his point of view, he was angry over what had happened and took it out on everyone on earth, but perhaps he rejected her freedom, was because she was the one person he'd wished would understand. Pain and manipulations can do a lot to a person..

I can see where you're coming from with the whole cultural difference, and it's an interesting viewpoint, but truth be told, Mia Ikumi's not the deepest thinker. :\ In fact, she's a little stupid. I doubt something like that even crossed her mind, considering how Mary Sueish her protagonist is. XD;

That's something I'd like to see tossed into the levels of a fan fiction or something.

@SacridiaDarque actually i'm trying to put together a story for something like this. but i need a beta reader to go through and fill in all the stuff I missed or miss spelled,. I think it's a good story, Yes while Mia Ikumi may not have thought of all these things we're seeing, it's still a Plausibility, and she unintentionally came up with an interesting concepts to consider, or it was due the fan's viewpoints that these thorough observations arose.

I totally agree, Tokyo Mew Mew's dark side is totally over looked, the thing that upset me the most is the fact that both sides have feelings, they all feel for each other, the aliens look out for each other, the mew mews look out for each other, yet there fighting and well, I'm not sure what else to say, I can't describe it really, but anyway . . . great video, as usual! :D
