most horror movies with clowns are shit...I just watched some and was really disappointed camp blood=shit, IT=OLD but better, Mr. Jingles= super shit (I've only watched a few minutes but I don't believe that it was getting better)and "we all scream for ice cream" was ok but far away from the quality of other horror movies I know...well "dead silence" was cool butthe clown there was only shown for a few seconds and "amusement" was creepy but again just a short moment for the clown to be on screen

The Camp Blood Trilogy is very entertaining. Not scary whatsoever, and with plenty of awful acting, but the twists and turns are pretty unpredictable, and it has a low budge atmosphere that is just awesome.
