@66644666 Brutal Juice got fed up with their label (Geffen) not distributing their album-- they'd play shows in cities and people couldn't buy their CD. They still play 'reunion' shows in Texas about once a year.
Speaking of how Geffen wronged this band, this song is called THE VAGINALS. Don't let Stabbing Westward tell ya differently.
These guys were/are AWESOME and while Blink 182 isn't awful, it is a horrible disservice to Brutal Juice to even compare the two of them. I used to bounce at a club in Dallas and I almost threw the singer out the first time I saw them cuz they are so crazy I thought he was just hammered at the show when he jacked my longhorns cap! Thanfully I didn't and watched a kick ass band rock a usually fickle crowd!
@dylan3vl Yeah on stage I think he might actually be someone else dredged up from the lizard part of his brain but never anything less than a class act off the stage :) Good cats all around and one of the most overlooked bands imho.
Definetely don't sound like Blink 182. Seen them with Gwar in 97. 45 shows later and they are still one of the coolest bands I have ever seen. Maybe because it was my first show but it rocked.
dude i saw these guys with baboon in lubock at einstiens.... they pretty much rock your face off... most music from texas is way ahead of there time...
The drummer Ben Burt is a music teacher now here in Dallas like a school of rock thing with young kids, very cool! This album was so far ahead of its time, I bet I have seen them at least 10 times, and every show was kick ass!!!
This is random....but is one of the guys from Tyler, TX? I can remember when i was in high school, my mom said a lady she worked with had a son in a band called "Brutal Juice" but i never could find them.
sam maccall is one of the best bassists i have ever known personally. dudes fingers are so strong he sounds like most people amped when he plays. good shit.

I saw them open for Gwar in Chicago on Halloween 1996. Absolutely awesome performance, I still listen to them to this day.
