  • Damn you are fine girl. I wish you were in my hotel before I went to MEPS.

  • You're beautiful

  • I took my asvab today without studying >.<

  • thanks for the video. very informative.

  • So my vision is correctable to 20/20 with glasses.. Would that be dq?

  • They don't check your medical history right? I thought only if you tell them or something

  • I needed to hear this! Going to MEPS tomorrow but for the Air Force.

  • this was very helpful for me since im doing meps on tuesday. does it matter what we wear to meps?

  • 3 idiots brought knifes to meps, but left them in someone's car, like how dumb can they be haha

  • omg ur beautiful..... ok so 3 questions...

    what was 35f like???

how long were you in the army or have been??

can you take the asvab w/o swearing in???

  • @alfredovera0111 You have to swear in

  • I can't see for sh** lol would that be a prob?

  • @RCMP792 Haha! They can issue you glasses in basic training, I think it depends on the severity and type of vision condition, you may have limited job options, but not always completely disqualified.

  • im going into the usmc for recon. and about the questions about the past what if i did drugs when i was 13 for a short while what should i say to them.

  • @warduckythe1st:

If you want to join, don't tell anyone a damn thing.

  • @PeterBrainTV1 lol thanks alot, i shouldnt have a problem then ive never had to go to

    a hospital before.

  • Watching this video was a breath of fresh air.

Women don't get enough representation in the military, in my humble opinion.

  • Jesus Christ. This is sickening.

  • @cstemac ?

  • im so glad im out now due to plastic people joining like you.

  • @viirusone lol. why would you watch this video/comment if you think i am "plastic?" Don't waste your time, I could care less what you think. If thats the reason you got out of the military, then you obviously didnt belong in anyway.

  • @ebee228 First off I watched some of this video merely because it was in my suggestions. I don’t expect you to care what I think. Secondly Poge, I spent 6 years in the army (19D). Four of them were tours of duty. Something you’ll never know about. It makes me sick when I see bleach blond bimboes making videos about the military.

  • @ebee228 Great Job, I'm not sure how I stumbled on to your video but I thought it was great initiative on your part.

  • @ebee228 Tell em. No military past or present should judge ANYONE ELSE in service in anything other than a jovial, sibling rivalry manner. Not to mention, to the ass who wants to post stuff like this, she made this video just after MEPS.. When we are ALL STILL INDIVIDUALS, BEFORE OUR SERVICE BEGINS. Regardless of how you view those before or after you're in, its a shameful act to disrespect a fellow serviceman/woman. Hooya Ebee.

  • when you strip down to your underwear, is this just in front of the doctors? and how is the hearing test?

  • @JewelOriginals In front of everyone and the hearing test is very painful.

  • Always answer NO to their questions

    N-umerous

    O-pportunities

    Y-our

    E-nlistment

    S-tops

  • I dont get it..all of your videos are on make up and hair and whatnot...are you in the military or no?

  • i hated meps so much. i tried joining the navy reserves, but got medically denied because of my pectus. now the plan is to join the jag core after i graduate college

  • Thanks so much for posting this video! I'm just now going through the recruitment process and am nervous about the vision test at MEPS. I don't have a current prescription (and without health insurance, can't afford an out-of-pocket eye exam + new lenses), which makes my vision still suck even with contacts or glasses on. Will this be a disqualifying factor at MEPS? I heard elsewhere if you don't do well on the eye exam they can give you a new prescription there for your BCGs?

  • MY COMP WONT LET ME SEE PAST 11:42

  • So when you they test you on the duck walk your only in bra and under wear or just under wear ?

  • @Callehia1 in your bra and underwear. Pretty harmless.. Kinda awkward but not as bad as when you get to basic and you're showering with 50+ other females o.O

  • Nice informative video...have you enjoyed the military thus far? I will retire next summer!

  • how would you get medical documentation? because my asthma hasn't been bad since i was young. I have only had minor issues since then and they wernt really asthma.

  • MEPS is all about black people raping you

it sucks but the army is full of fags anyways

    GOD BLESS AMERICA

  • @tHeWasTeDYouTh you're a strange individual.

  • That was very informative. I'm going as 35F also. Thanks!!

  • they want u in a hotel to party lol jk

  • you spoke about the breathalizer what about the blood urine analisis do the take a hair sample

  • @MrSupergiga no there is no hair sample taken

  • Hey why cant we share your videos? Im trying to post it on facebook but its not working.

  • dam your hot u wanwant to have my babies..jajajajajaja naw just playin but ur hot...jajaja ya anyways go NAVY,,jajajaja

  • Hey I wanted to know if you made it/sworn into the Coast Guard yet? Unfortunately because of my appendix surgery I had to postpone my MEPS date (recruiter didn't know until like two days before and called to tell me I had to wait until September.) But good news! It's September and I am now planning on doing my MEPS on September 25/26! So excited (and nervous!)

  • Why can't you bring a knife to a miltary that has used nuclear weapons to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people.??1

  • @Jordainio "i agree, jordainio"

  • Ok, i am kind of confused...In this video you said that there were 50 guys and around 6 girls there, but , in your second video, you said only 4 of you took the oath. Did that many people really disqualify?

  • i had my last asthma attack at like 11 and the only time i get it is when i am around cats will i get disqualified

  • YOURE SO HOT !

  • ur fucking awesome for this u know that...this help alot looking forward to your other videos...and good luck!!!

  • ur fucking awesome for this u know that...this help alot look forward to your other videos...and good luck!!!

  • IF ANYONE HAS QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MEPS PROCESS, PREMEPS AND POSTMEPS PROCESS YOU CAN WATCH MY VIDEO ON MY PAGE TITLED "ARMY ENLISTING PROCESS, MEPS, PRE-BOOTCAMP" AND IF YOUR QUESTION STILL ISNT ANSWERED, FEEL FREE TO ASK

  • r u sure there were people from WI cus Milwaukee got its own

  • they will try to get u disqualified anyway they can. so all ur answers shud b NO!

  • @PyroManiacFagumz but everyone get chicken pox at least once when they were little.

  • @utimo1122 well thats a given. I kinda thought ppl wud take that into consideration. But yes thats true in some cases. Some ppl get chicken pox wen they r adults.

  • love your video and great info! going to meps this Wednesday for asvab then following week for the physical exam. pretty nervous so this video helped me know what to expect. thanks so much :)

  • yea I had a hard time with some of the duck walk exercises, but I still passed, I just seemed I was the only one in the room, that it took me a try or two to get it.

  • I live close to Ft. bliss so the meps I'm going to is about an hour away by car! yay!

  • my experience at MEPS wasnt so great apart from passing and getting outta there asap which i was happy about i had to deal with crabby old ppl who looked like they hated their life cuz they had to stare at and touch private parts of ppl that go through meps lmao

  • also when i was younger i had chicken poxs but what if you dont have the documentation to prove it also would it fly by if you said no

  • i was just wondering for the paperwork at meps what happens if you say no on all the conditions its asking you if you have basically will they get suspicious about that because as far as i know from what you mentioned in your video about the paperwork for medical i do not have or never have had any of those conditions or any illness nothing of the sort also ive been told from a couple of my friends do they make you do sit ups and push ups and having to run a mile

  • i need to know about the conformation test can you help me

  • Hi...im really interested in joining the navy. the thing im really nervous about is the asvab. does the navy quit on you easy if you fail the pre test. Because i will not stop until i am enlisted this has always been my dream. My math skill arent really the goodest exspecially the alegbra.

  • If I had chickenpox when I was 4 years old, would I need documentation for that?

  • I just finished MEPS yesterday. My experience was very nice. I made some good friends and had a blast. The hotel was nice and the future recruits were nice. We had a lot of male bonding to say we all just met each other (no homo).

Some girls went home crying because of the weight/height requirements so I stress that you know what the requirements are(google it) and make sure your safe.

    Good luck soldiers

  • is there MEPS in Los Angeles?

  • MEPS lol really guys....you just take a physical no big deal im guessing you fat kids never took a physical for sports?

  • are they willing to help out with people who have phobias of needles.. i have a huge fear of them. i know you Have to get shots and things like that but would some one be willing to "hold your hand" in a case like that? its the only thing that really puts me at ease.

  • thanks so much girl. i have been looking for info on MEPS for some time. i going up to MEPS in troy MI on wednessday. i dont know if you know about the DLAB but i have to take that test. Go army. im going in on active duty but the i almost went in the Reserves or guards. Good for you. thanks.

  • Congrats on the National Guard! I also joined the Guard in October. Im an 09S (Officer Candidate). When do you ship and to which base? I ship Jan 3rd, training at Fort Jackson.

  • I just stumbled across your page and noticed you're joining the military! How cool! I was in for 4 yrs and I wished someone had a informative video like yours before I went to MEPS! I was active duty army and i enjoyed it. BCT was at Ft Jackson and it seems like BCT has changed ALOT since I went. I went back in '05 and we werent allowed cell phones or anything like that but now days, you can have anything.

Congrats again on your big decision and you'll do great! Stay warm at BCT!

  • oh my lord you wanted to be an intellegence analyst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tsk tsk....you go girl and i was curious when you have to work out without clothes is it all girls or boys and girls? and btw you are so adorable

  • what happens if some gets disqualified for something??do you know

  • @jazzyj12399 if someone gets disqualified for something like asthma or hearing, etc, then they are barred from joining the military. If they are disqualified because of weight or lack of medical documentation/criminal history, they may be able to get a waiver later on once they clear up any issues.

  • @ebee228 You can get a waiver for that depending on how bad it is,however there is no quarentee it will be approved....

  • @ebee228 okkay thanks

  • @ebee228 That is not true, for example with hearing.. depending on what the doctor at MEPS recommends and the ENT doctor recommends and the severity of the hearing and what branch you are trying to join you can get a waiver and if approved you can join that branch, but your jobs will be limited!

  • @ebee228 If i'm not prying, can i ask how old you are?

  • @jazzyj12399 You can DQ in a few areas. Physical, moral screening, drug/alcohol intake, prior criminal activity. If you DQ in any of these areas you are simply not qualified for any military branch.

  • One tip is to only take a days worth of clothes, especially if you ship out to boot camp the same day.

  • How about the things such as getting the shots and the dental check up? Can you relay some information about how those things happen? Thanks!

  • @Deetroiter the shots and the dental check up will happen my first week at basic training (in January). I will definitely post videos once I get back from basic training to let everyone know how it went!

  • @CaliHco86 Haha aww!! I have surprisingly good vision; the test said that I was slightly nearsighted, but oh well. I have trouble driving at night though, for some reason I get blinded by peoples' headlights!

  • Wow! I'm so proud and excited for you. You're gonna love it!

We'll miss you, but have fun, it's gonna change your life forever.

And thank you for sharing this, it's always nice to get a firsthand story of this kind of thing :)

  • @fragolina85 THANK YOU! I am SO appreciative of all of my wonderful supporters like you!

This will definitely be a life changing experience; especially since I never moved away for college- I am going to be very homesick at first! But overall it will make me a better person!

  • your going into the military!? why did you decide this?? are you still gunna make videos??

    repin illinois girl! (:

  • @kirstunna I decided to join the military because I needed a change and wanted to make a difference... I used to want to be in the military when I was a kid, but as I got older I convinced myself not to join. I got promoted at work and hated my new job, so I decided it was a sign that I needed to do what I always wanted to do! I am only joining the reserves, so once I am done training I will only work 1 weekend a month in the army. I will pre-record videos for while I am gone training! :-)

  • Oh, by the way. Don't use the ATM in the foyer of Moncrief hospital (at Ft. Jackson). I watched two girls do that - even though it had a sign saying that it was only for higher-level officers. This big guy in uniform (I'm not familiar with the ranks, can you tell?) came in and berated them in front of everyone. In fact, I would suggest that you pay close attention to ANY signs you see; that guy was seriously scary. xD

  • @mimclaire HAHA! Thanks for the tip! That's hilarious! I hope I don't make any crazy mistakes like that while I am training!

  • Congrats girl. My dad and his dad were in the marines, my mom's dad was in the army, my mom was going to join but her eye sight ended up disqulaifying her. Oh and my cousin is know in the air force, and I have a lot of friends who are in the army, and are actually deployed right now! It's such an amazing thing that you are doing. (:

  • @Michelleanne702 Thank you!! I am most likely going to get deployed at some point, so I am trying to prepare myself mentally as early as possible so it doesn't come as a shock once it happens. The way I see it, the government is spending lots of money to train me, it would be a shame for me not to be able to use my new skills to help save lives....plus with my position I won't be in combat, so I (should) be safe.

  • Haha this was a shocking video! Well thank you for the information.

  • this might be a little more personal, but why did you decide to join? any particular reason?

  • @greekgoddess507 I had always wanted to join the military when I was a child; I loved the uniforms and opportunities to move up amongst the ranks and help keep America safe. I ended up talking myself out of joining the military when I was 17, but it was always something I thought about. After I got promoted at work and started getting stressed out/hating my job, I decided it was the perfect sign that I needed to go for my dream and join the Army National Guard. I'm excited!

  • This video is very informative even if I don't plan joyning the millitary :D

"make sure to wear good underwear" :DD

  • @TheLaughingPrincess YES! A few of the girls wore inappropriate underwear (one girl even said she forgot to bring underwear and made her recruiter go buy her some the night before!)

In the military, its definitely better to be conservative.... It's a learning process for me but I'm sure I will adapt! I am going to miss all my makeup while I'm gone!

  • Congratulations! I'm an army brat so I love hearing anything about the army ^_^

  • @beautybudget88 aww! did you have to travel a lot as a child because of the army?

  • @ebee228 yep! I moved about 6 times and sometimes as often as every 9 months. Some kids may have despised that but I just looked at it as an adventure :)

  • Do they take care of your rents, bills whatever while you're in training? Because you mentioned you'll be away from home for about 6 months......We'll miss u!

  • @TOsxliu4 Yes! The army pays for my rent and utilities while I am gone (actually they pay more than what my rent/bills actually cost, which is awesome!), plus I will get a paycheck and free housing/meals while I am training. It will be a great opportunity to save money since I won't be able to spend it on makeup and clothes :-)

  • @baybeetxox Thank you!! :-)

  • Are you joining the Army? Active duty, reserves, national guard?

  • @katelyn0703 Army National Guard...although I kind-of wish I went active duty....

  • @ebee228 Yeah everyone usually says if they could do it over they would choose active duty. You can always do the paperwork later on to go over to active duty.

  • I have some friends at Huachuca and they love it there. My husband and I are at Fort Hood. Hopefully you'll never have to come here!! It's an awful place.

  • my boyfriend went to the base in arizona and he has the same mos as you! :) and he's totally in the reserve as well

  • @michaela111090 That's where I am going! Ft. Huachuca, Arizona! How did he like it there?
