I have actually taken the time to look at your other videos... and though you are dancing a different dance pattern- it doesn't mean it's salsa or cumbia. Salsa has a very distinct foot pattern; though, yes it shares a similar "timing" as cumbia. the difference is there musically and very obvious for trained ears I guess..and the footwork difference is certainly there for salsa dancers like me...I will say it's all for fun, so as long as you have fun so be it!

just saying...ive taught and studied salsa for years. though the steps are similar they are not the same. salsa doesnt consist of all back breaks.

Awesome band! I never thought people so far from the islands could play like this! I guess salsa is possible where there is no water!
