  • It's too bad you had to cut the part after he asks him to repeat it. Harvey korman makes the most wonderful sound! Lol

  • I am curious: did Harvey Korman get a best supporting actor nomination for this? If he did'nt, as I suspect, he was robbed; this is his best performance ever, including all his years with Carol Burnett

  • I love love love this film but this scene, for me, as a Methodist Local Preacher in the UK, is by far the best. I am watching now and trying to keep up with Harvey as he does it. Great stuff Mel.

  • @rentslave But they said mexican bandits. WIll you round up mexican bandits to round up mexican bandits. :P Sounds counter productive.

  • Thank you SO much! Exactly the scene i was looking for.

Reminiscent of the "Ferris Bueller" scene with the secretary.

    Thank you!

    ~NtN~

  • In all honesty, when it comes to this movie, I agree with what Mel Brooks says during the Ping-Pong scene; "Hand these out to the boys in lieu of pay, and enjoy!" Does anyone agree with me?

  • This scene is a classic and I hope 100 years from people can still see it and laugh their asses off.

  • Harvey was the very best thing in comedy! Wish we could channel him for some real laughs nowadays!

  • @Snotra -- silly person. THIS movie pre-dates "Airplane" by six years!

  • @Snotra

This is "goofball" comedy with a Jewish slant. So is Airplane.

  • @Snotra Make sure of things before you say shit like this...

  • And Methodists... classic

  • The Crew From Hell !

  • harvey was reading his list of criminals from cue cards, but that only makes it funnier.

  • he said BullDykes.

  • i love how he says buggerers.

  • "and Methodists!". That whole list of people he wants is funny.

  • He wants bulldykes. LoL!

  • sheer comic genius and impeccable timing

  • bull dikes are scary i would leave town

  • Harvey Korman was a great under-rated comedic actor.

  • Froggy! Froggy!!!! Where's my Froggy?!!!!!

  • AND METHODISTS!

  • "I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists!"

    "Could you repeat that, sir?"

    LOL XD

  • He forgot UKIP members!!

  • Do you remember this line near the end that they probably couldn't say today because of political correctness? "All right, we'll give some land to the niggers and the chinks but we don't want the irish" And to think many of those line were written by Richard Pryor. RIP.

  • I respect you for writing that all down.

  • He forgot Red Sox fans. No, wait, that was covered under cutthroats, thugs, dimwits and buggerers. He could also have added drunks, punks and skunks.

  • Those are Patriots fans !!!

  • Gee I wonder who your team could be??? Like them or not they support their team good or bad. I'm halfway between Philly and Baltimore and all O's games either at Memorial Stadium or Camden Yards the fans were always there through the good or the bad. And inter-league games in Philly. The Vet and Citizens Bank Park. I think those thugs you are referring to should be Eagles fans. "He rode a blazing saddle, he rode a shining star" Know all the words but I'll leave it at that.

  • I liked Memorial Stadium. The only problem was the location: You couldn't get in, and you couldn't get out. But it was a nice place to see a baseball game. I wish I'd seen a football game there. Philly can be a bit rough, though. Especially the Flyers. They really are, and have been since the '70s, the Oakland Raiders of hockey.

  • Yes Memorial stadium was nice. If you parked farther away you were ok. You realize I'm talking about Red Sox fans in Memorial Stad. and Camden Yards-(Fenway south). You get Yankee fans too(which I believe you are)in Camden Yards. You never really saw that many in Memorial Stad like you did Red Sox fans. Trust me Eagle fans are way worse then Flyer fans.

  • LMFAO-an absolute classic!

  • can you repeat that sir CLASSIC

  • Best comedy monologue ever. Period. LEGENDARY!!!!

  • Harvey Korman was great.

    So was Slim Pickens too.

  • AND METHODISTS HAHAHAHAHA

  • They don't need no stinkin' badges.

  • My bad, kickers not diggers.

  • Nimwits, halfwits, dimwits.... Shitdiggers, assdiggers....and methodists!

  • this is like something out of dr suess lmao

  • take this down...i want rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, half-wits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, indian agents, mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, shit kickers and methodists!!!

  • and Methodists!.................LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • WHERE ARE THE WHITE WOMEN AT?

  • LMAO love that part.

    "Ooooh BOYS!!"

  • shit diggers??

  • shit kickers

  • shit KICKERS.

  • Back in the 70,s I had a tv shop next to a bar here in Albuquerque. I had a cable run over there and the request from Pete and the crowd was dominated by a tape, BLAZING SADDLES That is when the boss was out THANKS NORM.

  • Sounds like Obama's cabinet. except for the Methodists. LOL!!!

  • Your mistaken he's got Methodists in there too.

    I would know.

  • hahhahahha. this is so funny.

  • ...,AND METHODISTS!!!!!

  • Who are the two dudes between the Mexican bandidos and the camel riders?

  • cajuns?

  • Harvey Korman is to this movie what ted knight was to caddyshack, overlooked but without him it just would never work.

  • Reciting the N.W.O shopping list.

    Harvey Korman is the best.

  • You want to honor Harvey Korman, have clips comprised of only Harvey Korman scenes, not a minute of Mel Brooks satirical comedy.

/salute Harvey Korman, you were one of the great ones.

  • Hey...fuck you pal

  • Well think about it, it'd be like having a tribute to Steve Martin's performance in the Three Amigos being comprised solely of Chevy Chase clips.

  • Thats not the same at all because Harvey Korman is actually in these clips...these are his scenes.

  • Eh, we're both sorta right. He was only in the first scene, not the second. The second scene, while in its entirety does contain Harvey Korman, isn't displayed at all.

I suppose I'm just skeptical that the title of this is "Harvey Korman" as opposed to, say, "Funny scenes from Blazing Saddles", since he isn't showcased in all of the recounted clips. But that's just me.

  • Harvey Korman was one of the most underrated and most overlooked comic legends. Thank you for all you're good work Harvey. R.I.P. mate

  • You said it, Malubay! That was a shameful omission by the so-called Academy.

  • The Academy Awards didn't think he was worthy enough to include in their listing of actors who died in 2008. Isn't the list of reasons why the Academy Awards is shameful getting awfully long?

  • Any sistem ruled by far left ideology is bound to go wrong

  • @MalubaySyecado He is considered primarily a TV actor (Carol Burnett)

  • @MacLanny Korman starred alongside Mel Brooks as well as other films. Don Knotts, Lucille Ball, Milton Berle were but some of the people who made the list over the years that were primarily known as TV performers. In their case their TV credits eclipsed their film credits. Not so for Korman who's work in films like BLAZING SADDLES, RADIOLAND MURDERS, HISTORY OF THE WOLRD: PART 1 & a couple dozen other films are seen more now than the Burnett show. So your argument doesn't hold water.

  • thats the best with the germans

  • I like the line(and I thought this was the scene) when Korman embraces Slim Pickens and Slim goes "Ow"! Then Korman says "Why Tagart, you've been injured"! when he notices bandages on his head. Then Slim says: "Oh, that uppidy nigger went and hit me on the head with a shovel"!

  • lol nazis

  • He didn't miss any of the bad guys

  • could you repeat that sir

  • harvey what a star

  • AHAHAHAH bull dykes

  • Lovin Canada and Blazzing Saddles. Good Day!

  • "rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperadoes, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, half-wits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, shit kickers and Methodists !!!"

  • Classic!

  • i love this part lol

  • you got them all right.......the one that really split my rib while laughing was the Methodist.

  • @rvdsux ''could u repeat that sir?''

  • @rvdsux "Could you repeat that, sir?"

  • Mel Brooks is a genius!

  • I know this is a no-brainer, when it comes to the "bikers", 1:47, you can tell the handlebars are props... One of many ,but fun, goofs on this movie,,

  • you complete moron - of course they;re props, you idiot

  • thats fricken helarious with the nazis, i dont think hitler was even born by 1874

  • it's a funny pun, knucklehead. of course hitler wasn't around in 1874, you moron.

  • The whole premise of the movie was to combine 1874 with 1974. In fact, that was original idea of the film before Brooks and Pryor even re-wrote it. Jesus, man, don't take things so literally!!

  • look whos talking

  • the bicycle was invented in 1790, as if that matters, you complete moron
