yea, the production design was sort of similar, but i dont think thats a bad thing. But i think a dead space live action movie would be horrific, especially if they use some of the same ideas and people who made the game.

I think this game is just really fun, combined with some suspense and great audio and visual.

If you havnt already, turn your tv brightness all the way down and turn the lights off, that is very fun with dead space.

I love the suspense and the reality that is put in the game, where you can die so horribly and the enemies pretend to be dead and when you get really close to it, it just attacks you! I saw that in a video from this challenge run, Dead Space - OGIMNUR by projectz3, it was so surprising, can't wait to see Dead space 2!

Not just blood and pop ups. Try playing that in 5.1 surround and as you walk down dark corridors with blinking, flickering, strobe lights and voices whispering all around you. If definitely sets the "tone". You got monsters literally coming out of the wood works so to speak. They appear from corners even from air vents and ducts. Very entertaining!!

I am tired of people under 12 posting comments all over Dead Space videos saying they aren't scared or anything. It could be because you aren't playing it in a dark area with loud volumes, wide screen and absolutely no one in the house. The other reason is because your using a piece of deceit I like to call lying.

On another note, this game is fantastic and deserves the sequal it is getting, my only hope is that it will do far better than the original in terms of sale and reviews. Go Isaac.

What makes a great horror game for me is sound , atmosphere and gameplay. Sound was made to scare the shit out of you when some sort of thing jumps out , for atmosphere it will be like some sort of person stroking a dead body and gameplay were the enemy just kills you in some gory way. And thats why i give this game 10/10 cause it does these awesomely. Sorry if i have bored you with this :(
