Kollias plays every note live.

To compare different musicians is like comparing coulors. You just can say a good musician can say, what he wants so say with his instrument. The technique is just an assistance to make the expression coherent. I don't feel anything when I'm listening to this drummer - not groovy at all - but his skill to play fast is awsome.

But that's not about the musician, that's about the music he's playing. You simply don't feel the "groove" of metal, and who could expect you to. I assure you, though, that there IS a certain groove to playing blast beats, and not everyone can do it.

its EXTREMELY hard to get into drumming if you dont have it...

you need timing, sense of groove, need to be able to multi task, etc...

not saing its impossible...but if you dont have even only one or 2 of those things...it makes it very hard
