I remember in Spring 2011 this was a pretty big news story for over a month, popping up in headlines of various mainstream news sources.
In regard to digging, I read from a couple sources that August is the driest time of year when they could effectively dig deeper. August came & went without another news story on this archaeological site. No articles at all, whether for or against the theory. I hope they didn't run out of funding.

Our taxes dont cover Arch funds.....they only cover war and terrorists. You should know this. Anyway they cant dig yet. They are trying to figure out a method of doing it effeciently with out over budgeting.

Something is very wrong here! In one instance a building is described that is no more than seven meters below the surface. Seven meters in crappy marsh soil would equate to a maximum of a week worth of careful digging. But yet the archaeologists simple walk away. So in other words they know more and they aren't telling us. Seven metres of mud stands in the way of finding out the truth? Come on!

@mynor4596 please don't make stupid comments, knowledge of electricity was developed until late 1800, this ruins were made before christ. The electric resistance is called Ohm and not OHMS, it uses the Omega symbol (Ω), which by te way does noes close the circle, it is more like a horse shoe. By the way OHMS means On Her Magesty's Service.

@TheJasoncash83 You are the idiot first read the beginig of the discussion, they guy claimed the simbol was (Ω) for Ohms unit of resistivity, but the symbol didn't begin to be used until the metric system was put in place by the french in 1800. More over Ohms is the name of the german scientist who discovered resistivity. You will not be able to light a lamp with one potato, maybe one small LED if you know the difference between lamp and a LED.

@TheJasoncash83 man again with one potato at most you will make a lamp glow a little, but it will not be enough to fully illuminate the lamp. Small lamps are 0,1 Amp or 0.05 Amp , your potato will barely produce something around 0.001 Amp in the best case! So good luck connecting 50 potatoes in series, and If you do, most probably your potatos will will consume the energy themselves. Kid I have a degree in engineering, you are a red neck who barely finished highschool and who believes in UFO's

if they have found the walls (stones) get some sample of it... examine the texture of every stone if there's some difference on it as seen on this video (carefully filed or arranged) -- it was man made no doubt!
