this ride didn't break the height record. the tallest ride in the world at the time was the Moonsault Scramble at Fuji-Q0Highland in japan standing 229 Ft tall. It was built in 1983, and was the first ever Hyper' Coaster as they would come to be known. Magnum was though the first continuous circuit coaster over the 200 ft mark

I agree with hcvs13 that it is too smooth. One way to fix that is making the transitions less heartlined. Some aren't quick enough either. Good Job though.

@catbyte911 There us a difference between ricketiness and smoothness. The problem is that he is transitioning into the crest of the hill too much. It needs to jerk into a negative radius from no radius at all and I said that it was way too smooth. I also explained some in my previous post...

This ride is by far my favorite and its not even close. Obviously the huge drop is great but I also love going into the tunnels. very exciting, almost better than sex lol. This ride has been around for awhile so theres never a long line which makes it even better bcuz ppl want to ride the newer rides..

dont get too excited. i found it to be completely over-rated. los of people also say its losing its magic over the years. it was just too rough for a airtime type coaster when i rode it. thats whats supposed to make it so great, but it wasnt, it was pretty bad

yes thats exactly my point. its getting old and is losing its hype.......plus back in 1989 this would've seen much more amazing and crazy then today. but so what, that was 20 years ago, this is now.......and its losing its mojo. (2009 is actually officially its 20th b-day) plus, coasters back then wouldnt have been designed to last as long as ones today. i could imagine MF 30 yrs in the future and being just as smooth. same for maverick. im just saying dont get ur hopes up too high for it.

When you live in Nebraska you get your hopes up for pretty much any coaster. The ONLY one here is at a small water park/fun park called FunPlex and it's a small one. Good air time on it, but for big ones you have to go to a place live Cedar Point. I think I'll be glad for anything over 70 feet.

About MF-coasters then will be passing 1000 feet likely, knowing how fast they are progressing, so MF will be like a kid's coaster lol now I'm just saying stuff to say it but yea I almost any coaster.

hahahha......i understand more than you think. at least u live in america lol. i live in australia, literally the other side of the world. ive actually only been to cedar point once........i had been dreaming of going there for about 6 years. and in live more particular in sydney. the state i live in, NSW has NO good roller coasters.....not at all, there was 1 half decent amusement park, but they got rid of it, the closest thing to me now is a 13 hour drive and even then its still not that good.

I know MF is better cuz its newer and bigger but I'd say any coaster over 200 feet is great. I know what you feel like about the flight-last May I went to California (luckily, and we went to Six Flags Magic Mountain: 14 Coasters) and it was a three hour total flight time, and I still felt sick and was bored. Tallest coaster I've ridden: Goliath SFMM 255 feet, a bit bigger than The Big Ohhhhh (the only coaster in Nebraska, which is about 30-50 feet)

yeah usually a coaster that exceeds 200 feet turns out pretty good although i know some that are a little boring. and one thing mainly in the past year ive realised, is that a coaster doesnt need to be tall to be good. generally when a coaster is taller, it means it;ll be very good. however a coaster can still be fantatstic while only reaching height of 100-150. see maverick, storm runner, fahrenheit, superman ultimate flight, etc.

now maverick, that looks awesome. It's one of the top three i'll wanna ride most: Top thrill, MF, and Mav.

The coaster in our city, speaking of not needing to be tall, doesn't flip, but it actually gives you a ton of fun air time on the first and second drop. It's actually more fun than some big coasters I've been on, and it's like a 1970 or 1980 model (idk). they just bought it from somewhere and assembled it there.
