Chris for my taste, is the best of 'em. But Mustaine has consistantly had guitar virtuosos as his bandmates. I salute the man. I like Broderick because he has brought it all together and nailed it down tight. Marty is a lot of fun but that a less practiced sound - he and Mustaine just wailed on (which was great of course) but ultimately not so very clean. Broderick is the fin d'cicle guitar player for Megadeth. (most pretentious thing I've written lately [sigh])
@0ZAZU I think that Poland is the best NOW. But Marty was the best when he was in megadeth. Chris is a technical monster. Now adays poland is back doing the fusion thing, and he is DAMN good at it. Love Marty. His ideas are so killer
@metalhead326 I agree Poland was amazing but personally though Peace Sells is amazing Rust in Peace killed all other MEGADETH albums to date just because of the guitar work. as great as Poland was nothing could stop the incredible team of Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman. The best example is Hangar 18 where the two alternate between amazingly difficult solos each one harder than the last.

I had wondered what effect sobriety would have on Mustaine. For my money he has gotten better! And this Broderick fellow - damn! Best so far imho.
