@cody10ha and technically that seems a bit of theft from us we are paying a fee in a sense our time watching the adds, which has a commodity value in order to see these videos. therefore there is the implicit indication of a contract that been we exchange our ad watching time for the entertainment of the video. when the video halts and does not work and we are having to pay the value of our contribution to the contract more then once we are in effect been conned this is unacceptable.

@MrLunitunz I actually very much agree, classic Simpsons was simply hilarious. New Simpsons is not that great. When I was a young boy, up to my late teens I literally grew up watching every episode. New Simpsons simply lost its flare for smart humor. But I still remember reading Dilbert comics in the 3rd grade, and finding it funny even tho i didn't kno what words like 'downsizing' and 'CEO' meant. While all the other kids were playing beyblades and digimon.

@24NerF I used to look forward to every new episode of The Simpsons, but in the last five years or so it has given the impression of series that is simply trying to be funny without actually succeeding and as a result I just can't bare to watch it anymore.

Dilbert on the other hand never got the chance to lose it. I believe they should restart production on this series. They do newer short cartoons but they just aren't the same, they last about 30 seconds and don't have the same voice actors.

I told my family my new guy (programmer) was a garbage man, and he loooved that. I knew it was because of this cartoon, and we are still together. Although, I think he's more in love with his pc games, ouch.

The 1st season of shows aren't usually acted as well as the later, but these were great, lol. We'll see how long The LIfe of Tim lasts on HBO!!!

@pratt123 I wasn't complaining about their existence. I was complaining about their lack of ability to pick a good time to interrupt, you know, like when it fades to black. There's no reason to complain about ads existing. They just need to be improved. And, again, the ads themselves don't bother me, so the ads aren't "annoying". I wouldn't want to get adblock and miss a ton of really good ads just to skip the few that last minutes long (like the glee commercials...)

As for the bad ad placement and timing, most of the advertising money goes to TV. Until cable and satellite's monopolies are broken by the Internet, ads placed on YouTube will never be given the same deal of attention and prestige as other forms of media.
