he is a amazing black athlete, blacks and whites was a big thing back then and he pulled threw and kicked ass, to make a big dent in the black history. now adays its just history, but back then it was black history or white history. simple as that.
Not to be controversial for the sake of it, but there is no such thing as "black" or "white" history, there is only history. We are all part of it, every color, and it's all connected.
I am old enough to have seen Ernie Davis play, and he was indeed an amazing athlete. Not an amazing "black" athlete, just an amazing athlete, and by all accounts, a fine man.
great vid A TRUE LADY indeed........didnt know much of davis do now learned more on this one vid than the others on you tube RIP Express........o and brdpntr3 some are proud of our history.....be proud of yours

This is all racist bs. There's no such thing as "black history", there's just "history. Every race on the planet has been enslaved at some time and every country on the planet has had slavery at some time. Africans (black and brown) enslaved other blacks and sold them to whites. So who's to blame? Get over it.
Ernie Davis has affected my outlook on life and how I perceive my trials and tribulations. He took it all and dealt with it with a smile on his face. God blessed him with an amazing gift and I am so sad to say that we were not able to enjoy it more than we did.
Why is it the good die young? I watched the movie and I was moved by how this young man with all that talent died so young. You have evil people roaming the earth, doing bad things, nothing ever happens to them.
Really nice job. This video is very educational and inspirational and I feel that we all should be educated about Black History Month because it is a part of everyone's history. I also feel that more schools should be named after achieved or achieveing African-American people.
Even Though He Is Gone, I Still Look Up To This Man and I Loved The Express Favorite movie
