I don't know of any commercial airliner with a certified ceiling of 51,000 feet! Only business jets and military aircraft at that altitude. You were most defintely lower on a commercial flight on a CRJ-200. Probably between FL250-FL400 feet.
@lowenbrau915 Well the captain had us cruising at 35,000 feet at first but turbulence was just bad just bumpy to the point of it hurting ur neck and he decided to climb. When he finished climbing he said "ok ladies and gentlemen we are now at an altitude of 51,000 ft to avoid the turbulence due to heavy cloud cover and wind sheer." It was a delta airlines jet and after he climb it was smooth like in the video the rest of the way....and the view was also awesome!
