  • Perfection! jeff can create it!

  • This is a brilliant version of a brilliantly underated song. Top marks.

  • gigolo!!!!!!

  • The rhytm guitar on this one reminds a lot of the rhytm guitar on The Wilburys tune End of the Line and Tom Pettys I won't back down. Hm, could it be the genius of Mr. Lynnes work on the other tracks.. ?

  • @16wani Yes, Jeff Lynne (a member of The Wilburys) was involved in all of those songs, and many other artists.

  • I think that this song would sound great if somebody rewrote it as a gospel song, if they made the chorus sound almost the same

  • The first time I watched this video I didn't even hear the music. I was too mesmerized by the early nineties CGI.

But, yeah, now that I've had another whack at it, the song is excellent :)

  • Love Jeff Lynne! He's so talented.

  • What a great tune and video!

  • @movejefflynnelo AWESOME re-mastering! Do you or anyone else know where I can download this song?

  • dude.......this is some QUALITY audio!!

  • wtf isn't this song available on itunes??

  • Little known fact. Jeff Lynne doesn't have eyes.

  • @jackviperjwb

    He's got beautiful eyes :-)

  • @jackviperjwb took me about a minute.... LLOOLL

  • with all the rubbish produced these days, why is this album from one of the all time most talented musicians not been remastered and re printed. Just classic our bab. What an export from Shard End

  • Thumbs up if this song (or Jeff) lifts you up

  • Love it when this song comes onto my ipod. Uplifting!

  • This song should have been a #1 hit world-wide!

  • what the bloody hell was that

  • Word is his next project is producing a Joe Walsh solo album.

  • I think I remember promos for an early 90s movie, believe it was RUdy featuring this song in the backgrouns

  • @zachhoran: heh, didna think anyone would ever make that connection again...movie was Shout-1991; featured John Travolta, Jamie Walters (remember him?!?) and Heather Graham.

  • Desert Moon was Dennis Deyoung solo, not Styx.

  • nice 486 gaphics!!

  • @Corsair784 Amiga graphics I think

  • Armchair Theatre, one of the best albums ever.

  • Very Nice!

  • jeff lynn so album. not elo

  • jeff the best.....

  • Can't stop playing this amazing song

  • Sounds just like the later era ELO tracks

  • Deuce Bigalow: male Gigalo Brought Me Here. =)

  • if anyone is looking for a cheap way to get a copy of this song i picked up a used copy off of amazon for $1.38 its the deuce bigalo male gigalo soundtrack cd so i can rip it to an mp3

  • Good song from an underrated album. His Stormy Weather cover is also good.

  • yeah, the best song from his first and, so far, only solo album

  • I think Sirius should have an ELO/Jeff Lynne station like they do for some other bands on there not worth listening to. I would never have to change the channel.

  • @twp35 I agree.

  • It recalls the good times with ELO

  • I love how he sings "broken hearted". Wonderful voice with so much soul!

  • Yezzir!

  • Favorite Jeff Lynne Solo Song!!......HANDS DOWN!!

Can listen to these harmonies for like ...........EVER!!

  • this song of jeff lynne is awesome, i am ytring to download on ny MP3 player, but i don,t think it went though, i would need some help.

  • I love all of his music, expecially when he was producting some songs for Del shannon. And the traneling wilburys. These are songs i have never heard from before, i am going to order them on amazon.

  • I love all of his music, expecially when he was producting some songs for Del shannon. And the traneling wilburys.

  • I love this song, i have not heard this song before, i love it, i also like the video!

  • A friend of mine gave me this vinyl not long ago cause he thought it was crap. Didn't know what to expect but it sure was worth listening. This track is great example, pure Jeff Lynne sound.

  • I remember hearing this on the old Powercuts radio show,.wow

  • good luck finding this CD anywhere....I bought a NEW copy when my Original got scratched....found it at a "record" shop that imports...and I paid like $50 bucks for it....sheeeesh.....but what a great CD....not bad though...I saw people paying over $200 for Styx "desert Moon" cd ( original coppies)

  • What a song. The face that this wasn't a ginormous hit when it came out tells you all you need to know about the screwy state of music at the time.

  • @PeteRFNY I agree, and I'll add that the state of music is even MORE screwy today. :-/

  • Please don't take this video away ok! I love this tune!

  • DEUCE BIGALOW ! I LOVE THIS SONG :) <3

  • @Redmadlad I love this song, its both soothing and inspirational, you cant help but smile when you hear it

  • This album is great!!!!! Jeff lynne rules!!!

  • I love Jeff Lynnne and the E.L.O., muchas gracias por este video :)!!!!

  • I have no opinion here, but I laughed when another 'poster' elsewhere said, "Ha Ha. I think he looks likes Sasquatch...". There was no other comment so I got the impression this guy was still enjoying the music. I know I do.

  • fantastic

  • put this on Itues..............do it!!!!

  • What a beautiful song Jeff!

  • Perhaps one of Jeff Lynne's finest pop songs, and that includes his fistfulls of classics from his Move and ELO days. This was just about the best period for the rebirth of pop music. Jeff, George, Roy, Tom, Bob... hell, all of the old masters were recording fantastic music right around this point. I hate getting nostalgic, but what a great period for pop music. I'd gladly trade in most of the last ten years of music for another Wilbury revolution.

  • I reckon it would be one of the best experiences to sing with jeff....even make an LP

  • This song is amazing, wish I could download it though.... Any help??

  • Was just windsurfing on the lake as the sun was going down, listening to this song inside of my head. Then a girl that I have been flirting with passed by on the beach... Wonder if she saw me :-)

  • fantastic song, but the music video is shit

  • @magnus405 But it's nice with the retro computer graphics :)

  • i LOVE this tune

  • A song to brighten my day!!!

  • I want his royalties.

  • Jeff Lynne is Beethoven : Beatles are mozart ?

  • The Jeff Lynne Sound. Like God Himself Made a Musical Sound.

  • Oh man, look at that awesomely bad 3d. I wonder if in 30 years from now, people will be laughing at what we consider to be state of the art in cgi.

  • @ThuSkyline Yeah, 30 yrs from now we'll probably have full-surround holographics, and kids will probably be asking us, "You mean y'all had to watch videos on a flat screen back then????"

  • @no1elofaniknow

    lol, exactly.

  • @no1elofaniknow probably, but i bet their music is not as good as this. Jeff is the god of music.

  • @david1leigh I agree. :-)

  • @DSF1401: I've been doing that for about the last three hours (give or take).

Thanks so much for posting this!

  • Like if you dancin to this right now<3

  • Jeff shoulda been the 5th Beatle...

  • man i wish i could get a copy of this album ive heard most of the songs here and on pandora my fav is stormy weather

  • @larcombjill Remastered Armchair Theatre will by released more than likely next year. Great things to look forward to!

  • This song is fantastic, why don't have millions and millions of views? The people is deaf or what??

  • This is nice, so sorry we all didn't hear more of the album out in the world.

  • Two words come to mind when I listen to this song: fucking, and awesome.

  • Your link links to the same video.

  • About this time he and Bob, George, Tom, Roy we all helping each other out and were making some really fantastic music for a few years there. I could almost say it was a the "marking " of the end of classic rock....By the way, if you have never heard ELOs El Dorado album from 1974, do yourself a favor because its one of the greatest musical pieces ever created.

  • Heard this song on the end of deuce bigalow and it reminded me of what a great album armchair theatre was. I bought it when it was released in 1990 and played it over and over. Quality.

  • Fantastic eighties haircut + cool tune = Classic :)

  • Lift me up, Angela..

  • And what does the number 27 mean?

  • And who is Caroline?

  • Wow! I don't know how many times I have watched this video, but this latest time, I just now noticed that at 3:07 Jeff has a flaming devil on the left and an angel on the right. I think the video is full of secret messages.

  • What a tune! They don't make em' like this any more. Brings back some of the old days!

  • Of the three remaining Traveling Wilburys, Jeff Lynne is the one who's voice has not changed. Bob Dylan's voice is sounding more worn out and Tom's, wow, I have never heard a voice that has gotten so bad. He slurrs his words a lot.

  • rock and roll hall of fame jeff. i know youll get there youve deserved it for years

  • I believe this was used in an animated film around the time it was released.

  • You've done a remarkable job on the ELO songs remastered!!Five stars*****

  • ive alway said im one of the lucky ones . the 80s with tom petty , elo, styx, 38 special, and the list can just keep comin. no way anybody can say music today is even close to these days. glad i could be a part of them

  • @Boss9878 So true... I wish I was part of it. 80's fill my days.

  • This song needs to be on itunes.

I've wanted it for 2 years now.

  • yep this is in deuce bigalow at the very end. it fits in so perfectly and helps the film end nicely.

  • My favourite Jeff Lynne song. Amazing

  • JEFF IS GENIUS!!!!

  • First time I heard this song was on that Deuce Biggalow movie that aired on TV, and this song came on at the end, and I thought, man thats a good song, and looked it up online. My favorite song from Jeff Lynn.

  • This song is pure genious! Jeff Lynne is the master!

  • Love this song. JL is king.

  • Jeff Lynne is a national treasure and is one of an elite number of the very best songwriters on the planet, make me proud to be British,

  • @creepycooper I'm american, I consider him a national treasure as well. Heck, we loved them before England knew who they were. Sorry, if I sounded harsh, no offense intended, truly.

  • great song, brings back some great memories from 1990

  • JEFF

You make me so happy ^-^

    You have no idea!

  • sweet!

  • God bless you, Jeff Lynne.

  • I think you've done a great job with the sound. IMO the best track from 'Armchair Theatre'.

  • great song,i havent heard it for years until i heard it at the end of the duece gigalow movie, great song on the end credits

  • Jeff is set for a new album and tour in 2010!

  • cant wait

  • @chrismac545 A new album yes! but tour? i wouldnt hold my breathe waiting for that!

  • @chrismac545 Album yes. Tour. I doubt it. But you never know.

Where did you hear about the tour?

  • @chrismac545 Welcome back from the great beyond....

  • @chrismac545 I can't wait, since I heard about it.

  • @chrismac545 - Hi Chris, for real?? that sounds good! wish he comes to Denmark then!

  • @chrismac545 No he didn't.

  • @chrismac545 Unfortunately it never happened... :(

  • @chrismac545

I sure wish this had been true. You think maybe this year sometime??

  • @chrismac545 still waiting for that 2010 tour....

  • Wonderful song, wonderful CD. I am so glad I came across it and bought it when I did. Now I keep it safe like a precious piece of gold!

  • you are the best jeff great muso live forever

  • Jeff, please come back...where have you been?

  • He will not see death until the return of Xt.

  • the zoom DVD is simply amazing.

  • 2010 is going to be a great year for Jeff Lynne fans....stay tuned!

  • Great song, much better post than previous versions. Quite sure I can hear George Harrison's guitar and voice on this track?

  • yeah i can definitely hear it. got to have a trained but it's definitely in there! i would guess the solo at the end is harrison as well.

  • Que guai!

  • LOL! Deuce Bigalo!

  • THIS is music

  • Jeff Lynne...genius.

    I can't say I much I love him.

  • Whenever I have a bad, dull day I put this song on and - pure magic - it all feels so much better!!!!

  • Yeaah!! This is music.

  • This is fantastic .... Many thanks

  • I just pray Jeff doesn't use whoever made these video's!!!! OMG such a great song, such a horrible video! I remember when this video and 'every little thing' video both came out. They were horrible back then too! Great songs deserve much better on the video department.

  • Can't believe I found this!!! I'm so happy - my day is made! Such a brill, brill song!

  • Catchy as hell!

  • Thank you.

    Excellent remaster.

  • thank a million for posting this.great tune,it just lets you know however crappy things get, they always get better.

  • is this song in the deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo soundtrack? when deuce cleans the floor with that water pick up thing?

  • This song is played at the end of the movie.

  • I think Armchair Theatre was better than Zoom. The latter one was Jeff´ s solo project with the name ELO. But the songs on Armchair are full of life and joy of making good music. I don´t mean Zoom was bad, but the songs in it were a little forced.

  • wanna learn to love Zoom? buy the DVD. It is one of best live recordings you'll ever find. Makes you truly appreciate the Zoom material from the first listen.

  • @movejefflynnelo, You sure? when deuce cleans the floor with that water pick up thing? doesnt sound like it. hah

  • @CharlieNation I loved that movie! Yeah, it plays at the end. Great song! Jeff does a great job on the concert for George dvd. An Awesome dvd to get your hands on. It has Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Ringo, Paul McCartney, and many others.
