2: Wouldn't the game advance quicker if you collected less rings/got slower endings as bonuses tick down and take a while longer, the more they are?

Sleeping Egg Zone is one of the more nonsensical level names in a Sonic game. I never could figure out why it was called that.

On the other hand, this was Sonic Chaos.

@FateJHedgehog I always thought it were the ruins of the old Death Egg, which is why it's called sleeping egg: cause it's broken and innactive.

I never understood how the colors on these games could be so much better than NES colors. I mean they're both 8-bit, right? But the colors here seem pre-SNES type colors, while many NES games had really, really awful colors where a character or enemy would be just one single color. Some NES games have good color, but check out a game like Predator and compare that to this. My uncles had a SMS, too, and I dont remember it looking this good for an 8bit console.
