  • 8 years old,,,,,,,peanut gallery,,,,25 cents,,,,,Daddy up above the Press Box,,,,UD Football,,,,,,,,,wonderful :)

  • eastern washington?

  • YEAH!!!! Delaware!!! :)

  • go blue hens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes, I know that. It was in response to the guy who said "Go DSU", not a jab at the Blue Hens. That's why I said that to the confused Hornets fan (to kind of shut him up a bit). I don't know why he posted that on a Delaware video, but whatever. Actually, I don't think Delaware and Delaware State have ever even played each other, so that makes his "go DSU" even more confusing.

  • DE & DSU have recently started playing each other. The first was a playoff game they were forced to play in 2007. (UD had been avoiding it for some reason, probably because they knew the score would be what it was, 44-7.) The first of four regular season games was played this season. DSU stil lost but it was a much more respectable, 27-17. Not sure the series will go past four games although it has been a sellout each time.

  • Delaware State's improving it looks like. Still surprised that they lost 63-6 to Michigan. Maybe Michigan really was a good team last year but could only muster a 5-7 record in a surprisingly tough Big Ten conference (who went 4-3 in bowls and very nearly was 7-0 because all three losses were super close).

  • @Davebrechtel1 DSU tried to make it a racial thing, saying the the "White School" (UD) was afaraid to lose to the "Black School" (DSU), when in reality, its because UD knew that they woule EMBARASS Del State.

  • @Davebrechtel1 Do you know who the star of that game was? If so what happened to him?

  • @Davebrechtel1 Delaware Stadium sells out every single game anyway.

  • Delaware State just lost 63-6 to Michigan. I know they're different divisions, but that's still extreme, especially considering the 49-0 halftime score. By contrast, Eastern Illinois only lost 52-3 to Penn State and one of PSU's touchdowns was defensive.

  • Penn State quarterback Pat Devlin (who led them to the game winning touchdown against archrival Ohio State in their annual showdown) transferred to Delaware. Expect the Blue Hens to be a good team in 2009. This kid can throw the ball and tuck it and run at a moment's notice.
