I ended up buying the '57 Custom, I also have a '60 Jr and just bought a custom shop Mick Jones (Foreigner) LP Custom to get those tones without routing the '57
@LabelBob it will have less warmth and depth, and won't be as resonant. If you're looking to buy one as an investment, the jr won't sell as good as a standard or custom. The jr has only one pick-up so it isn't as versatile. I'd go custom in a heartbeat

@reman94 They still made some with the old pickups in 57 but there rare. it had a 1957 serial number and headstock logo.
