Uhh, I just got done with this climb. Did you really stop at the bridge...or is that where your video stopped. Like you said in your description you stlll had about 2 K to go when the video ends.
There was a finish line and a podium at the bridge, but as we soon discovered, there was another line, a further 2k's up when we hopped in the van to take a look.
Can the makers of this video please tell me their journey plan and stay as in 2009 me and my wife and our by then two year old boy will be going over there from the UK for me to climb l'Alpe
D'Huez and do some other rides here and there?
I'm happy to cycle to Bourg D'Oisans if need be as I've found a place in Les Vigneaux which is around 50 miles aways apparently and would involve cycling the Col Du Lauteret to reach this famous climb - I'm up for that but if I could closer that'd be better.
