This is a cover song.... and pretty damn good one too. Original version was done in 1970 by The Rattles with female vocalist Edna. If interested, there are three versions floating around youtube, two of which are music videos and the other a live performance from Top of the Pops. It's psychedelic garage proto-goth!!!
