another good reason to use magnets is that after you prime you can attach your magnets then one can paint the smaller part OFF of the larger model to get into those tight areas. you could make a magnatized or metal handle to hold the peice while you paint. then use that magnet to stick it on to some thing metal while it dries. grat vid btw.

I may be useing Tau but the magnet idea is a really good one especially for remembering which weapon has been destroyed in combat so you don't have to constantly think about it...just pop it off with the magnet and your good to go!

To avoid getting confused with the polarisation: work with a stack of magnets. For example: You have a vehicle and 4 weaponoptions. Drill all the holes needed. Glue the one in the vehicle first, let it set. Put on a stack of magnets(10 or more;to make it handy). Put some glue in the weapons holes (tiny drop,should'nt sqeeze out!) . Take the stack now (former free end towards the weapon), stick in, slide aside, stick in next, slide aside... KEEP CARE OF YOUR FINGERS!

Glueing Magnets on to one side won't hold very long - when they click to hard the glue will go of. Try to embed them to get more glueing-surface, but think over the needed depths on both sides. Therefor a drill that's about 0,1-0,2mm larger in diameter is handy. Supporting with greenstuff also helps.

the dreadnought was something I was having troubles with and I just drilled a few small holes and put wire through and glued one side down so if I needed versatility. After seeing how you and Fritz use magnets where I would have used wire or GW stuff really makes me rethink how I will rebuild the models, thank you.

Get several sizes, im sure you will find uses for all of them. Dont get any thing bigger then 1/4" diameter though.

I haven't ever bought a dread naught, i just got one from assault on black reach, do they come with all the options? because then using magnets they wouldn't get wasted.

The AoBR dread only comes with a multi melta. You will need to try to get other options from bartertowndotcom or thewarstoredotcom

it's just the stats, plus it gets some extra details just to distinguish it from the regular and venerable ones. but if you want cool looking dreadnaughts, go order from forgeworld

yes but fluff wise the blood angels tend to lean towards heavy flamers (just look at the baal predator)

so if a person is a really "fluffy" person, they may want a heavy flamer
