Listen to that whine. So impressive that you can build an engine with such a long stroke that will rev to 8k. My RSX revs to 8k on stock internals, but the amount of torque that this engine makes is just obscene. No replacement for displacement.

Why would a 572 (9.4 litre) engine need to rev past 6500 rpm? Those F1 3 or 3.5 litres rev up to 20K rpm or higher, the bigger engines haul ass at a much lower rpm.

I wonder if that engine would fit in a Dakota R/T 5.9L truck.

I've just purchased the 600cfm vac/sec Holleys and will be manifold referencing them. The 671 is overdriven 5% with a compression ratio of 6.06 to 1 on TRW forged dish blower pistons. What I want most out of this motor is that blower/boost surge. I know many builders tune this out. How do I keep it? Any answers?

you cant cam a blown motor. you'll be blowing chunks of valves in no time. its the surge of fuel delivery when running electric fuel pumps, and not mechanical fuel pumps which run off a lobe on the cam.

Yes, its built for race only, and the cam is extremely radical, I run a .614 lift, and my lobes are about .5 seconds a part, this car has a little over a full second. A car with this engine would be awesome, the whole car would shake. YSBCITTAR said it all.
