stock, azteks arent much to look at. but they have a descent engine off the line, ride smooth as hell even in the hudreds and have a pretty descent stock system. and HELLA room for a custom system!
@jaw1987cchs Yeah I've seen someone amazing videos of custom Aztecs online. There is ALOT you can do with it if I had the money I'd make it my dream car. :P

i just observed the coolest thing EVER.. when i hit 111111 miles!!! so myq uestion... my tranny is messed up too.. it doesnt come out from 1st gear when its cold... once it warms for about 20 minutes then everything kicks in fine with a little slip on 2nd everyone once in a while... i was gonna do a Transimission flush but they told me to hold! is it the fluid or is it a sensor?? did yours have the same?? how much to repair?
$2500 At AAA as a member with a used transmission and a 2 year warranty. Funny thing and I havven't posted the video yet, I pulled out of a shopping center parking lot, revved the engine and KAPLOOY!! Parts all over hte middle of the road something litterally broke out of the tranny. Got the new one and so far everything has been good. I think I may need a new altinator now but it's a car... things go bad.
Transmissio nstill going strong and i had a loose terminal on the batter which is why it kept going dead. not the altinator. Apparently it comes loose alot in my car. It's caused dead batteries about 3-4 times after that terminal was tightened.
Probably a safety feature since the stock tires are rated at 112mph. How was the engine noise? I'm thinking of ditching my Mazda5 and getting my second Aztek. First one was wrecked in a rollover accident out in Mojave desert during a freak downpour.
It wasn't bad at all, I think I could have gotten another 10+ mph from it. Not like the scion I drive for work, it hits 110 and can't push any harder. I *LOVE* my aztek dispite the transmission falling apart on me. =( I got it fixed and now it's back in action. How did it hold up in the roll over btw? I watched some crash tests of it on here and it didn't look like it took too bad of a hit.
Right passenger Side-airbag deployed when the window broke. Both side-mirrors lost. Windshield cracked. Left & Right Rear quarter window glass broke. Front driver side window and rear passenger windows intact. Headlights intact. Rear lights intact. Dents on roof and sides Rear glass panels intact. Electrical systems still active. Got all my CD's out. ELR Seatbelts held me in place upside down. No frontal intrusion. Lost tires but It saved my life.
Get some gas, bud. lol That is hard on the fuel pump.
