@95TJZ How you hold the bow doesn't affect your playing, just like how you hold your pencil doesn't affect your handwriting. Its just easier for some people to hold it differently, its not wrong.

@Kaytarawolf0 Firstly: Can you even play the violin? Have you ever learned how to play it? The bow position, and the way you hold it determine the quality of the sound your violin produces, whether you want it to be soft, hard, flat, whatever.

Second: Have you ever written something in your life? Holding a pencil in one way or another changes the way you write entirely!
