@speedotrusa cold steel is the brand not a steel type and they use 1050 spring steel for all there swords as far as im aware and it is a excellent choice less carbides and impurites and provides strength and a spring temper hence the name spring steel it makes a strong tough and flexible sword

Guys, I love your swords. I personally own the great sword and most of the Warrior katana line, finally something recently american made to be proud of, for tatami mats or trees or brick, that edge and blade stay put and everything is fitted tight.

Just if you guys read this, please... PLEASE stop making your katana sayas out of pine or whatever that weak wood is. Even if it's cheap as long as it's stronger, but it needs a change. Your swords stay in one piece, match the running gear with it.

well now, they failed, a japanese "Katana" is only sharpened on one side, these ared sharpened on both sides.

he got i off at the begin ing it was ment for right when you pull it out of the scabard you followed through the samurai used them but then the farmers rebeled against the samurai and became ninjas and turn some of there farming tools into weapons like the sai and sythe and on they snuck up on the samurai they got katanas and then they used them for lots like climbing buildings

Sorry, but ninja were samurai. Real unmade up ninja training is Bujutsu, techniques shared by both ninja and samurai. ninjitsu is the art of escaping and isn't really a martial art. Sai and kama are used in modern kobudo, which was invented by Shinko and put together himself by learning various weapons of the ryukyu islands.

They chop meat because it's what you're made of + bone, which they chop too. You're also made of organs, but they're weaker than meat. If Lynn can chop a 25lbs beef brisket in half witha folder, that's equal to chopping a skinny guy in half at the mid section, - spine.

what possible practical purpose could this have in real life? if you get into a fight with someone...you probably dont want to kill them. on the other hand if theyre trying to kill you they probably have a gun...which would mean your fucked. also walking down the street with a katana screams "im insane" and may be illegal

@AAGuitar123 Common practical use ? What practical use does having 5 cars have ? Today most things we have in our homes we dont really need them. If I buy sword it will be for fun. Its fun to train with them, to look at them and its cool to show to your guests ... and its alway posible thet some lunatic comes in your house with knife to robe you ill prepared and then if you can find your katana or whatever sword you can cut him :D though I dont recommed it its a crime to hurt others ...
