hazel, that horse is gorgeous!! and so calm! Ive been leading alot of horses on slippy roads too and some almost freaked out (ok 1 or 2 did freak out, more or less...) wished they where as nice as him =)

excuse me but yur all so quick to give off bout him walkin on the ice but the hole road was coverd in ice i was hardly going to leave him in the slatted sheds to freeze over night he had to b brought into his stable and that was the only way .. and he wouldnt have fell it wasnt that slippy !!!!

@JAMESOmalley659 Seriously? Does this horse look like a racer? Have you even had to put down a horse before? Quiet obviously this horse trusts her enough to walk along the ice when asked, but at the very least she could have made a trail for him. Broken legs aren't funny business. There heartbreaking and incredibly expensive -- its common sense to not make a horse walk on ice. As well as run for too long and too hard, eat grass clippings from a lawn mower and turned out with a nylon halter.

@me4me4u4me had to be dome end of. where he was in the shelters in the bottom yard were frozen so he had no water and was slippy in his shelter so yaa like to see you sort that out without moving him !!

@hazel0N0jasmin Its called salt or grit. Put it down on the road to melt the ice. Its extremely dangerous walking a horse on ice - I know of one who did fall, break a leg and was put down. Not worth the risk when you can buy a bag of salt!

@ohiodudemanguy as i said ive trained to become a jockey for the last year in the british school of racing and if you shoot your horses in the head cuz they break a leg your either to poor or dnt give a fuck to pay for the treatment to fix it ... well done mate ... and is he tied up NO he is on a loose rein so he can find his balance if he needs to ... you one very clever lad aint yaa ??
