  • definitely not put in by square, as "all your base" started around 2002 (although the game was released in 1991), and this game was released in 1996.

  • @azuritereaction Yeah, I know it wasn't put in by Square, just the translators, but the what you're referring to as "all your base" is just the all your base FAD. The game, Zero Wing came out for the Sega Genesis in 1991. So the Engrish was around for a long time, it just hadn't become a fad until a decade later.

  • @Tricksterlnsanity that's why i said "although the game was released in 1991" :P

  • @azuritereaction Heh. Yeah, I get it now. You weren't specific enough, you just said "the game" twice with two different dates. Either way, I already had this discussion two years ago, so I don't think it needs to be raised again.

  • @Tricksterlnsanity engrish lol

  • LOL, nice! :)

  • All your base are belong to us...

This was also in MegaMan Battle Network 1. XD

  • Holy crap.

    Never thought I'd see this.

  • Hehe, I don't know how I would have found this without gamefaqs... one of the greatest easter eggs I've ever seen though :P

  • For great justice!

  • LOL @ Lynx...err...Cats.

  • NICE!!!

  • Heh, I had forgotten about this. I thought that Demiforce, the translator, put this in though - not Square.

  • Hmm. That'd make alot more sense, frankly. I'll have to try it on the original Japanese ROM and see what happens.

  • Download the ROM and try it. All your base are belong to Square.
