aha. I remember at the time it did take me a long time to figure out how to beat this level. I think that I would actually probably do this level completely differently if I tried it again today.

The only way to beat a really tough level is to just stick with it, to get past the frustration, and keep trying it, analyze what caused your death, and fight to get back to that point again the next time so you can make a better choice.

You could also check the replays in the game for help.

wait...how come ur time doesn't ever lower or go out?...in the video the time stays the same throughout the entire thing???

You may notice that I recorded the replay that occurs immediately after finishing a level. There is a small bar on the screen that says "instant replay... press [spacebar] to continue."

When this replay is shown, it only displays the time you finish with at the top, rather than showing the time count down as it does when you are actually playing.

there are probably much easier ways to beat the level than this way. :p but it might give you an idea of how to attempt it anyways.

my replay for the level isn't TOO helpful i don't think.

just use it to practice dodging the double gauss turrets

i know you'll get it if you just keep trying it. just keep moving, and jumping and getting out of their sights.

if you don't have the time.. your going to have to restart the episode, unless you can get all the way to the FAR right in time to load up with time.

can you make it over there in time? theres like TONS of gold.

ya, the time carries over from the previous level.. thats what "connects" the levels in an episode.

anyways, theres some easy levels in that episode, so redoing it shouldnt be tooo bad.

i just beat episode 59, but i have beat some of the first few episodes from each column.

i don't think i can beat all of them though. i watched some of your replays, and they definitely get a lot harder, and i already feel like im maxing out.
