There is no confirmation that he was stronger than King Vegeta, actually the scientists only said that if Bardock keeps this up (going on only the hardest missions) then he will surpass King Vegeta.
@TheWhatify I think it's hard to say. The only movie that is considered 'canon' is "Deadzone" as far as I know. The TV specials like "Barcock" and "The History of Trunks" are also canon. Ya gotta just enjoy the movies for the fun. : ) Check out the special "Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return." It's the only other special/OVA right now and hasn't been dubbed in english yet, but it's pretty fun. I Hope I helped!

Okay, if you're going to comment and state a "fact," get it right.
Turles is a middle-class Saiyan turned mercenary.
Bardock is a lower class, but Raditz is the lowest, and also Goku's only brother.
Turles and Bardock aren't related. I can see why you'd think that, but they just aren't. Akira Toriyama has stated that Turles is an incarnation of Goku, had he not hit his head, hence the "devil horns" in his hair.
I wish Turles and Bardock were brothers, but they aren't. :\

They have a horible way of making a plot,first they send Goku's bother right in the begging of Dbz then he is taken out of the picture.Havent the writers saw a good movie or read a book?You dont take a potential aspect and make it a minor character,it would have been much better if he would have apeared at the almost end of dbz because it would have been a great impact.Finaly Goku vs his own fear,the only man who could beat Goku.Sadly it wasnt like that since dbz become Pokemon after cell saga.

The reason why Turles and Goku looked alike is because within the low-rank Saiyans, the facial patterns of each warrior were similar, thus making it easy to mark which Saiyans were low-class warriors. Turles is not related to Goku or Bardock.

If you click them, they take you to the bottom, where all the sources are. You can't post whatever you want on any wiki. @TheWhatify I think it's hard to say. The only movie that is considered 'canon' is "Deadzone" as far as I know. The TV specials like "Barcock" and "The History of Trunks" are also canon. Ya gotta just enjoy the movies for the fun. : ) Check out the special "Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return." It's the only other special/OVA right now and hasn't been dubbed in english yet, but it's pretty fun. I Hope I helped!
