I love this song, I'm 18 and as a kid my dad used to keep playing this song in the car, when i fount out one of my favourite bands pearl jam covered it I was like OMG!!!, THANKS FOR UPLOADING THIS DUDE.
This for me is amazing. Neil Finn is without doubt one of the finest singer songwriters in the World..and my favourite, and Vedder is without doubt the greatest Rock an Roll singer on the planet today ... it just doesnt get any better.
i was at this gig and this particular song was definatly a highlight with 30,000 people singing along with this NZ classic, and most of the audience proberly too young to even remember when it came out. and by the way Neil Finn is not from Christchurch, he was born in Te Awamutu.
Great cover. The band has only played it five times according to their site; I was lucky enough to get it in Pittsburgh in 2000. Would have loved to have been at this one!
I love this song and PJ does an amazing cover. I have this from a PJ concert in Verona, Italy (20/06/2000) and it's an even better version. Look for a copy of the concert; the whole thing is great.
@DJJIMMYJAMBE The reason this performance is so amazing is, they are performing a classic New Zealand song, with Neil Finn (part of the band that wrote it originally) in his home town of Christchurch, New Zealand!

Love how much Eddie Vedder gets Split Enz, he performs Take a Walk even better than Neil Finn. This is magic, pure respect across the stage
