The bottom line is the drummer makes a metal band what it is. Igor was Sepultura. I think Derrick rocks, I saw him live and he kicked ass! But the unique drumming is what made Sepultura. This is fine for what it is, but it doesn't sound like Sepultura. Where's that core sound? Igor has it. Just like Slayer. Yes, Paul Bostaph rocks...but who would you rather hear playing drums? Paul or Lombardo?

What made Beneath/Arise shine (in my opinion, of course) was the Kisser's classical backround. Without his leads or flair in playing, they would have been very, VERY generic Thrash albums. I respect the Cavalara brothers and what they do but I think people put too much weight on their significance.
