I open my engine,and then I press W and suddenly the engine stops.

I tried everything,and I finally made it (somehow) to move,AFTER killing my team mate in the first Tiger mission.I still don't know how to use the tank.I hate this game.

@SeRgA123456789 I did, that computer was just about ok for playing the game in medium settings, so it wasn't ideal, I know that if I record with fraps and the game seems sluggish then recording is ok, but since this game doesn't support demo recording, I had to play it while recording, and that was quite impossible with 14-18 fps... Czech Republic, but studying in Denmark

@MrJodete23 start the engine, increase RPM (up arrow in my settings) and then release brake and shift up. with T34 You can shift up 1-2, sometimes even 3 gears in a moment, with Tiger it's more like 1-2 as it's heavier. Also be careful about engine, lover RPM from time to time to let engine cool down.

LOOKS great but Theatre of War and CMAK/CMBO/CMBB allow control of many more tanks at once; this is the equivalent of an armored FPS- your tank gets hit and its over. I'd personally rather have control of at least a dozen vehicles and a bigger view of the battlefield,plus AT guns/positions and supporting infantry. These strictly armor games don't give any role to infantry, in WW2 a solitary tiger without infantry support didnt make it far into enemy territory...

Name of the game is in the title. generally I know just couple of tank simulators...this one, I believe there is another game similar to this from same developer IDDK - involving T-72's and then ofcourse Red Orchestra (oh hell yea Panther rules :) ). There are other more or less realistic "simulators" or tank games, but none I know go so far as these where you need to know how to use gears and regulate RPM of motor to not to overheat it etc.

IN fact in WWII it was the prime tank vs tank time. Many tank duels took place, only after WWII that such "duels" were limited

Thus, the main threat soviet tankers experienced were towed ATGs and hand-held fausts&panzerschrecks.

Too buggy game. Next German mission hang over and over with no chanace to end scenario.

I prefer Steel Fury due to more missions, mode with 2 new full operational tanks and other units control. Even this game like hangup often too is more playable. The best of the best still stay Red Orchestra the best WWII tank sim with big operation areas and many working tanks units and troops. T34 vs Tiger 12 mission is funny number. Numbers of bugs with still no good patch make it to play very hard.

I found a way to stop hanging this game by lowering graphic level. I suppose its too small 512MB DDR3 8800GTS memory overflow problems.(ARMA hang the same way for a very long time till patch not correct it). I will try TvT with my new HD4780 supercloced (790/4400) Geinward Golden Samlple with 1024MB. It shoud help to play with all in max level. I hope so. I bought this card beside patch. :-)

Sedjja - I like simulation games but I hate bad engine or full baged productions. Great FSX as simulation is shit due to old engine not using power of new graphics cards but still only CPUs. To play smoothly You need the most expensives QX9XXX CPUs . This is crime wallet tactics for any fan of sim games.

TvT is nice game! I will be happy to see patch

well, you aim by reticule, but as in real it involves setting correct distance on aiming scope and you don't aim by mouse, you aim by arrows so it's a bit closer to reality when you aimed with pedals and traversing handle,it's a bit clumsy, but so it was in real.

Sure, but you need to have high speed or low transmition or your motor stops, but don't expect some fancy animations, trees just fall and houses have some preanimated sequence i think, but i'm not quite sure about this one.

Well, i don't know exactly how much does it cost, but count with some +-20 dollars plus shipping, but i can't tell you where to get it, i'm not sure about it. This was run on HD2600 pro 256DDR2 and A64X2 4k+ so quite low specs for today standards, and it ran about 25-35 fps without AA and 1280 resolution. Details almost at max.
