I am pretty thin all around but I gain all my weight in my lower tummy/love handles. I don't know how to lose this weight without losing weight everywhere else. Any ideas?
I find regular old pushups offer more to my routine when I can't get to a gym. Pushups work every muscle group in your upper body including your core muscles. Also incorporating burpees makes it more of a workout.
Good for you Liz. You look fantastic! Keep it up.
Have you ever considered trying kettlebells? They are a phenomenal total body workout. My wife who is 52, does 50-100 kettlebell swings two or three times a week. Really gets her heart pumping and burns fat. She has lost some weight around the middle and increased her muscle mass. There are lots of excellent kettlebell videos here on Youtube.
@kr16794 I might not be as muscular now as before because I train differently now. I used to do heavy weight resistance training daily & now I train more like an athlete & do a lot more cardio & resistance training twice a week. I have been eating 100% raw low fat vegan now for 3 months & it can be normal to put on some water weight in the beginning because my body is catching up for all the damage from before. I'd love to see what you look like in a sports bra and super short shorts! (:
@LizYArtur so, what do you think about building muscle, do you think it's attractive or do you not care at all about having muscles? I ask because it's hard to build muscles if you eat a low protein diet. I know you get plenty of proteins to be healthy on the raw vegan diet, but people who want to build muscle usually eat a lot more than just the minimum to stay healthy....anyway I'm just curious as to what your thoughts are...
@pinkedelweiss I still think that muscles are attractive. I just have changed my interest to more running/spinning. It actually is possible to build a lot of muscle as a vegan. Check vegan body building . com. xx
gr8 vid totally inspired me to get my resitance bands bk out.. so just a quick Q for u.. i've just start recently working out a lot again and im trying to find a work out that targets the area kinda under the arm/armpit area but in my backk if u know what i mean it seems like no matter what i do this will not tone & it just bothers me in tanks and stuff kinda bulging out.. any advice u have would be gr8 thanx liz love ur vids
For your biceps, instead of your second set being to the side, keep your arms pointing in front of you, but instead of your palms facing up, face them down, this will work your brachioradialis too
I have resistance bands in different "strengths" but they are like what @Virtualbeautycounter described. Wonder if I can alter the moves you do to work with mine? Also, could you do a video about what you do to work your abs?
Wow great workout i can see ur muscles working... i recently came across ur abs workout video and i luv it... could u do an updated ab workout video if u have changed anything... thanks
Thank you! My arms are what I want to tone up the most, but I had bought my resistance bands for my thighs and wasn't sure how exactly to use them for my arms tool You look fantastic, by the way, and you're very confident. That's so refreshing. It gets exhausting listening to other women complain about their bodies, especially when they have nothing to complain about. Bravo!

You have lost muscle! Compared to your ab videos from ages ago, your arms and abs were much more toned before you went vegan.
