I purchase them at a local art/craft supply store but you can pick them up at Micheal's in America - if you are in a different country, online might be your best choice. <=)

It's bristol board. :) Not very expensive, but heavier than drawing paper.

I prefer inking digitally because I tend to mess up a lot when inking in pen...
I should try that ereaser trick once.
