They're not bringing the old songs back -although Escape would be amazing live. It's probably an insinuation... because when they released Cave the single at the very beginning, the mayor of Teignmouth tried to prevent Muse's music from spreading around for some reason. And years later at their first gig in their hometown, after all they've done as Muse, Matt says "the song is called Cave."

Hopefully he plays it more now that he made a version that doesn't require screeching. If he still employed the vocal style from stuff like Cave and Dark Shines Muse would be defunct by now lol.

This version of Cave now makes more sense to me now I've heard I Belong to You - it's got that same jazzy piano feeling. I still prefer the rocking guitar version, but I never get tired of listening to Matt playing the piano.
