  • What did the dove feel like?

  • The male there is a full growen dove and could fly away if it wishes and they nested there again the year after that and let me pet them again they know me and know i mean no harm

  • aww poor thing looks so scared

  • What a sweet creature! By the way, it's "mourning" dove (as in grieving), not "morning".

  • He feels dovey

  • I am happy that you love doves so much, and enjoy being a part of their lives, but you really should leave a nesting dove alone. you can be a great help to them by not touching them, so that humans will not be a "good" thing to them. you never know they may trust the wrong person and it could be bad. i constantly find myself saving doves and other birds that neighborhood kids have gotten a hold of, it aint pretty some times. please do them a huge favor and leave them alone.

  • Yeah, I totally agree. I love mourning doves too, but everyone will not be nice to them like we are. They may start trusting humans and they could turn into a bad thing... sad, but true.
