  • Do you think that the stereo sound makes a big difference?

  • @liaminabox It's hard to say how much of a difference it makes... however I do find that the sound quality is quite good, but the feature that I like a lot is the cut wind feature. So those windy days and when you've got your camera out the window it keeps the wind noise down.

  • To ,,Luckzzz try comparing Sony HX5v to the all new TZ10 from Panasonic i think you might like ...Thanks for reading

  • What would you recommend? To buy TZ7 or waits until this march to the new Sony HX5V (it costs $350 + $99 of memory card) ???

  • @Luckzzz

Don't spend more on cards than you have to... i bought from a local SD card maker here in Toronto. I got a 16 GB class 6 card for 60 CAD. As for Camera... I like this one, but it has little in manual features... Keep researching, and get the right camera for you for the purpose you intend to use it for.

  • @Luckzzz There is Tz10 (ZS7)on the horizon as well.

I compared ZS3, Hx5v and TZ10 mostly from the web. Look at the videos of Hx5v here on youtube.

Although Hx5v has impressive set of features like pano and hdr but in the end I liked the sharp pictures, video and audio of the ZS3 the best. I am going for the ZS3 (TZ7) once its price drops after the arrival of ZS7!

  • @Mark1Mach2 thanks so much!

Its a good point.. but.. with money in pocket, what would u get?

    ZS3 or ZS7 ?? lol

  • @Luckzzz umm even with some extra money in hand, I personally would go for the ZS3. ZS7 gives more manual control, which I don't really use. iA mode in ZS3 is good enough for me. GPS I would never use. 2 MP extra on the same sensor on ZS7 would actually put more strain on the sensor and effect image quality.

The surprising thing however is that ZS3 price is actually going up steeply as they are running out of stock!

  • @Mark1Mach2 Fucking shit.. i hope they continue to produce more ZS3 .. 'cause it's hard to find it here in Brazil.. shit! thanks!!!

  • beaty downtown..where's it?

  • This was shot in downtown Toronto... at Yonge and Dundas

  • Nice.. I'm planning to fly to Vancouver in the end of this year.. I've read that it's seems to Rio de Janeiro, and Toronto is like São Paulo.. Lol.. I don't know how to decide it yet.. It's true that in December rains a lot in Van??? :(

  • During the winter it tends to rain more than snow in Vancouver, however it is still close to the rockies and you don't have to go far to find snow. Toronto can have a lot of snow in the winter, and some times it may not. Currently there is no snow on the ground in downtown Toronto. Vancouver and Toronto are very different cities...Some people like one more than the other, so take anyone's claim with a grain of salt.

  • Can I see snow all the year in the Rocky mountains, especitally in summer (between June, July) ??? If it is true I would prefer to travel in July, but my vacation is only in December :(

So maybe I will take a LOT of rain .. LOL

  • This 'drums' sounds seems a little bit our Samba here..lol

  • what video settings did you use for this?

  • It was set on SH and loaded into the computer at full res on a class 6 SD card, and on iA mode

  • This is a great camera... it lacks some features in the manual department, but consider that when buying a point and shoot camera, you want one that you can pull out and take a good picture. This camera has a large optical zoom lens that allows you to get in close without losing quality, and the quick video button is certainly an advantage.

  • great camera! Soon I will have one too :)
