I LOOOOVE the kick-ass U.S. "American" symbols (every American should know!) flashing across the screen! Back then, every child in thie U.S.A. did; not like today -so very sad.
@Lalo3001 He can fly, he is (seemingly) invulnerable, seeing as how he survives every trap they fall for, and he supposedly has spontanious feats of Super Strength, because there have been a couple times where he managed to carry the entire team (all at once) to safety when they were about to be killed.
@Lalo3001 I'm a little concerned that, regarding a superhero team which includes someone named Diaper Man, that you're more stymied by what Cuckoo Man's talent might be....
Notice the unapologetically patriotic sub-theme. Do you remember when it was okay to be that way, to assume other people felt that way? Have we all moved to another planet?? Great stuff.
@sjplwc Yes, I remember, and it's cool for what it was, but it is something that is better left in the past.
It's 2011. We can be anywhere on the planet in less than 24 hours if we want. What's the point of being patriotic? The sooner we forget about arbitrary national borders and live as one united planet, the better chance we have of not blowing ourselves up and making some progress.
Just in case anybody was interested, I read an article at Flying Omlette's Switched at Birth section, which talked about how Diaper Man, Tornado Man, and Strong Man inspired the character designs for Kid Icarus, Mega Man, and Simon Belmont on the Captain N cartoon.
Can you believe that Ralph Bakshi, future "Fritz The Cat" creator, was the master-mind behind this short-lived (Only 21 Episodes) cartoon series for the "Terrytoons" company?
@ terracottapie
I totally agree with u, except maybe nuke the germans for their trouble over the years.

Lol whut? I wasn't even a romantic candlelight dinner and glass of wine back then. I don't even think the wine was a grape then.
