Mine had ich too after 3 days of getting him. I got a 15w UV sterilizer and the ich was 90% gone within 24 hours and completely gone in a week (I first filtered the water through my canister before going to my uv sterilizer). My hippo is still around with me after 1.5 years so far. That was a close one! I bought the Aqua Advantage 2000 15w uv sterilizer at aquacave.com or petstore.com
get the yellow tang out into a saltwater bowl and on the side a fresh water bowl and get him and rob him in the fresh water bowl then but him back in the saltwater bowl and do to for 1 min kk

ich is a parasite that looks like little white spots on the fish and eventually will kill the fish if not treated. no most fish can get ich

get him in a quarantine tank ASAP before it gets any worse its not that bad yet and cure it.
