How long does it take to harvest after swathing ? We harvest direktly, the problem is when there are other plants in between and that the canola is not ready at the bottom of the plant.
We leave it in the swath about 2 - 3 weeks, depending on the weather.
We try and swath when there is either dew, or it's night time, or as in this video when it's raining, as that'll make all the kernels finish. We have no green count, it's dry as a bone when harvested, and all the kernels are black.

Our yields range from 2.5 - 3T/ha.
