Mr. Moats was an awesome person. I was fortunate to know him during my years at Oak Park in 73-76. I enjoyed this video very much and only wish that it was much longer because I always enjoyed listening to Mr. Moats. He was a blessing.
Thanks for sharing this video with everyone. Byron and Nancy were very special to my husband and I. Nancy was my high school counselor over 25 years ago. We stayed friends all these years. They both gave so much of themselves to so many. Aren't we lucky to have known them?!
I just found out about his death, I was grateful that the person who told me about his death told me about this video. Thank you for posting this... I felt like crying, but... that's girly and stuff... so...
Mr. Moats was so awesome. I was in his english class... he made me smile every day I had his class...
Thanks for posting this... very well put together. I could listen to Mr. Moats tell stories all day. He will be missed very much, but it is awesome to see how many lives he impacted. He was a true role model who really cared.
My name is Mike, I am one of Uncle Barney (Byron) and Aunt Nancy's nephew. I just wanted to thank you for posting this video, it means a lot to my mother, Byron's sister. You really captured the real Uncle Barney. Thank you
