More like, Clutch sounds like Atomic Bitchwax... They're around the same time, but clutch was more punk n shit before... And these guys are WAY better than Clutch.

It's not Scott Reeder on Bass, its Ed Mundell (also in Monster Magnet). Kyuss sounds similar, not really qotsa... At all.. Kyuss/AB-stoner/desert rock, qotsa-alternative modern rock. Not the same.

its just a ''roll'' from fret 1 to 3rd. on the 3 string, then a roll from 3 to 5, then you just work up from an A minor pentatonic scale and slide down to a G minor pentatonic, it isnt REALLY difficult

I've been listening to these guys for 2 years now, and only in the last few weeks I realized that they are one of the fuckin' best stoner/desert rock in the scene right now. This tune is simply awesome, something from another world! Their last studio album (004) is worth checking out for everyone who is a stoner rock fan. And if you do that, try and check out the rest of their discography too, it's awesome from beggining to end. TAB ftw!!!

They call it the "boxriff technique". Kosnik and Ryan sing along most of the time, and the outcome is fairly harmonious, tbh. I love almost all of the tunes where they do it. They started doing this in the latest 3 releases ("3", "boxriff", and "004")
